Until a DM can answer to you I do think is up to you decide, there are characers who imediately respond with hostility after done, but there are others who roleplay that are really enspelled even after the magic passed, in this case I suggest the one who enspelled do it again in the next RT day, or as soon as possible in RT days, this is what I suggest until you have a final answer about. See ya!

It seems the easy answer here is to look in the Players Handbook. The spell was charm person? Well, if so, it should say the duration, just calculate in that it was cast by a 15th level sorcerous with something like a 25 charisma. (I know, I know, why the hell does she go around with eye sore like Manshin?) Though NWN spell durations are usually differant than PnP, at least this will provide you with an educated guess until you hear from a DM.... Personally, I hope it lasts forever. hehe.

(I know, I know, why the hell does she go around with eye sore like Manshin?) Cause her intelligence is a 6? ;D Full disclosure: I have no knowledge of Galia or Manshin's ability scores and if I did I in no way intend them to be used towards metagaming. The above statement is purely for entertainment purposes.

I think Manshin already gave you the answer but I don't believe that charm person would last that long. The NWN duration for Charm Person is 2 rounds + 1/3 levels of the caster. Even then the spell definition only states the the "reputation of the caster is improved by 50%" so in theory, if you depise Galia, then you depise her 50% less? IMHO charm doesn't mean you are mindless and enslaved, certain actions would negate the charm.

The 50% better reputation means if you're hostile you have 0% reputation and if you're friendly you have 100%.
So basically if you are hostile and someone charms you, you'll become neutral (50%) and if you're neutral, you'll become friendly.

If you wish a good example of someone charmed I suggest the book 'Red Magic' (forgotten realms novel, harpers series book 3) there are two scenes where mages charmed people, and both are very good in their description. The spell 'charm person' in NWN is very bad to roleplay purposes, suggestions were already showed here, so I don't need continue in this

in dnd the charm spell works like this:
it lasts for one hour per caster level (before galia starts cheering, let me finish), if it is ever used in combat the victim automatically gets a +5 bonus on his save (it's not meant for combat), and if combat breaks out and galia harms someone on manshin's side, he also gets another save at +5 to break the spell.
the general effects of the charm is that manshin becomes more friendly (or less hostile whichever is the case) with galia. if you're neutral towards her you will become casually friendly with her, if you're already friends you'll become almost enthralled (but regardless the above mentioned rules for combat still apply). if you're enemies and ready to attack one another on sight, manshin will hesitate at best and perhaps resort to being unfriendly towards her instead. i hope this is a useful guideline.
disclaimer: this is just what the 3E player's handbook has taught me about the spell and i'm not a DM.
