The NPC wizard (evoker) leveled up this past session. She's now level 3 wizard. I'm considering have her eventually go into a prestige class if she lives long enough. (She saved the barbarian session before last with benign transposition when he was paralyzed so the party likes her, I think they won't let her be cannon fodder.)
I'm trying to decide now if she'll go Force Missile Mage (from Dragon Compendium) or Arcane Devotee (from Player's Guide to Faerun) or perhaps go cleric at level 4 and have her go Mystic Theurge (from DMG) down the road. I'll probably have her go Force Missile Mage though. As an Evoker, she uses Magic Missile a fair amount.
At level 3 I took Spell Penetration feat with her and her new level 2 spells are Rope Trick (from PHB) and Snowball Swarm (from Spell Compendium). I made sure at least one of them (Snowball Swarm) was an evocation spell so she benefits from being an Evoker. Also made sure one was offensive so the party continues to find her useful.
There were 3 low level evokers with the party but two of them headed back to town as soon as it was safe to do so. In fact, I should have told the fighter that he passed them on the path, but I forgot to mention it.

WotC has asked online retellers to cease selling D&D books in PDF format so Paizo had to take down all their old AD&D PDFs. I had been considering getting the AD&D Transylvania PDF but I guess I'll just get the book itself off of Ebay eventually.

Is Masque of the Red Death that different than Ravenloft? Can't you use the one that is in Feast of Goblyns? Feast of Goblyns is for AD&D. I have 3.5e Masque of the Red Death. I could use a Ravenloft 3.5e character sheet but Masque of the Red Death has more skills than Ravenloft or standard D&D. (Ravenloft 3.5e only has one more skill that I remember--hypnosis.) Most of the skills are Knowledge or Profession skills so it may be easy enough to adapt. Right now I'm just thinking of making a Skills page in Word or something to use with a standard character sheet. Well.... I found a Masque of the Red Death character sheet on rpgfiles.com (I think was the address, anyway). I printed out 7 copies for the party then actually took the time to compare it to the list of skills available in the Masque of the Red Death 3.5e book and it has "most" of the skills but whoever made it failed at alphabetical order and also left off a couple skills and left on a few skills from standard 3.5e that don't exist in Masque of the Red Death. Decipher Script and Ride are the two left on that I remember. Masque of the Red Death has the Equestrian skill. The sheet I downloaded had Equestrian and Ride on it. Masque of the Red Death also has alternate skills for deciphering scripts. (Notably Knowledge [Ancient Language].). So anyway, after finding a Masque of the Red Death character sheet and printing enough copies for my players (and a couple extra), I found out it still has a wonky skill list. I fired up Word and made a custom 2-page skill list. Page one contains all the standard skills that don't have sub-headings, and page two has all the skills that can be sub-specialized, with PLENTY of lines to write in specializations, such as Knowledge [Engineering], Knowledge [Forbidden Lore], Knowledge [Ancient Language], Perform [Panpipes], Perform [Oratory], Prognostication [Tea Leaves] and Prognostication [Rolling Bones], et cetera. Then I went to print my nice two page skill sheet with a nice bright red Masque of the Red Death written at the top with a fancy font... and my printer won't print any red ink. I tried unclogging my red ink (and the cartridge is new) but to no avail. So I just printed it in plain black. It still looks nice, but that splash of red would have looked nicer. I didn't print seven copies though. I'll make some copies later.

Just to clarify, the Masque of the Red Death character sheet I got IS still better than a standard 3.5e sheet because it's designed for Masque of the Red Death and has spaces for several different currencies (instead of the universal fantasy gold standard) and has Ravenloft-specific things like places to list the effects of failed Powers checks and a few other Ravenloft niceties. It just still has room for improvement in some areas and I'll basically just have the players not use the on-sheet skills list.

I buy way too many D&D-related products.
Recently I've been thinking that I should try to track-down the leather versions of the 3.5e core books because they should be more durable. I have no idea if that's actually true but my 3.5e core books are literally looking a little rough around the edges. (Notably the bottom corners are damaged, specifically on my PHB and Monster Manual.)

I was going to buy the leather bound PHB, but I figured I would look like way to much of a pompous ass sitting down with a black leather book with gold trimmed pages.
It was the Ultimate Edition or Collector's Edition or something.

Okay, so I've been playing Traveller for generations now, and my rulesbooks have become dog-eared and brittle, and I've become a bit obsessed with maintaining them in useful condition.
So imagine my surprise when one of my gamers showed up with the core rulebooks in a single reprinted volume! I was ecstatic, and my players can now hold the acutal, (but not my original!) rulebooks without me hovering like a comic-geek over his favorite Hulk comic.
Traveller was originally published in three 5" x 8" pamphlets, with five expanded rulebooks printed through the late '70's and early '80's. There were many supplements, stand-alone games, and adventures also published for the game, but GDW disappeared shortly after the mega-Traveller update.
It feels like a new game again!
Check out Far Future Enterprises if a Space-Opera is your kind of game!

Here's one of the reason's I'm excited about Pathfinder. AWESOME ART. These are previews of monsters from Paizo's upcoming Pathfinder Bestiary, which is their version of the Monster Manual for the Pathfinder RPG (based on D&D 3.5e). This isn't like any chain devil I've ever seen before, except one in one of my other Pathfinder books. But it's a chain devil I could get used to. I'm guessing this is a pit fiend or it could be a horned devil. It does have impressive horns. Guessing this is a balor. I think it's a cool take on a balor. He has four eyes. And this? I'm going to say this is an ogre mage. I'm not planning to switch from 3.5e to Pathfinder RPG any time soon, but I'm loving the Paizo interpretations of the monsters.

Pictures of stuff related to my game. Since I found-out I don't have to register with ImageShack to use ImageShack, I plan to use it more. (That's just one more password I don't have to worry about.) | This is a picture of when I was setting up for a session some time late last year. My players are getting ready to enter a dungeon in the Vast Swamp on the east side of Cormyr. You can see my DMing stuff there. Obviously I'm short some players in this shot.
| | This is a picture from the party's first combat on the Shadow Plane. The large creature up at the far end is the ghirrash. The white base underneath of him represents the location of the summoned swarm of bats. The gnome in the middle is about to critical fumble and break his crossbow while shooting at the undead lizardfolk advancing on him from the foreground. The ghirrash will paralyze the barbarian and the level one NPC evoker will use Benign Transposition on him so the party ranger can swap him places. The barbarian will be shoved back through the portal to the Prime Material. The NPC lizardfolk ranger with the party will get rendered unconscious by the ghirrash's attacks but the party ranger will drag him back through the portal on the next round it opens.
| | This one is much more abstract because I'm trying out having a player draw the map. This is from our most recent session Saturday before last. The party fighter decided to come in the front door while the rest of the party crept around the ruin. Well, the party fighter is fighting two kir-lanan in the overgrown courtyard. Since they're flying creatures, they're making use of my Combat Tiers and swooping past him. This is actually where the session ended last time so I have notes to pick up here. I'm just using the Alea Tools colored bases to keep track of which mini is which. (My initiative and damage tracking list them as Kir-Lanan R and Kir-Lanan Y.)
| | A close-up of the party in the scenario mentioned above. I took pictures to remember the placement on the grid since our session ended mid-combat. At the door on the left are Rethalos and Boris. Rethalos is the druid and is presently in dire weasel form. The lizardfolk in the center is Gathan, the NPC lizardfolk ranger. The guy with the kind of bent bow is Shalious the half-elven ranger. The girl with the dagger is Dava, the NPC evoker. The celestial dire badger is actually Shalious's rough collie animal companion, Randolph. The guy holding up the torch is the party's archivist. His name is Archibald and the torch is actually a bull's-eye lantern. The guy in full-plate and purple robes with a crossbow is Halish the NPC cleric of Mystra. Nicolai, the party fighter, is shown in the picture above, underneath the kir-lanan. He's actually fighting with a +1 frost shortsword and a shield despite the mini having a greatsword. Not shown is Milo the party's wizard. His player couldn't find his player sheet and since Archibald's player didn't make it, he's playing Archibald instead.
| | After we finish our present Cormyr campaign, I plan to take a detour into the mists of Ravenloft with a Gothic Earth/Masque of the Red Death campaign set in 1890s London. I'm going to try to get away from the grid entirely for that one if I can.

I want the naval combat sourcebook. I think it's Stormwracked or something like that, but I can never find it in my local shops.
I have a thing for boats, but I could never keep an oceangoing adventure going: the PC's always end up on an island or something and they totally ignore the wealth of adventure offered by the sea!

I have a thing for boats, but I could never keep an oceangoing adventure going: the PC's always end up on an island or something and they totally ignore the wealth of adventure offered by the sea! That's because armor check penalty + swim skill = death by drowning. Your players are terrified of drowning. Encourage them to all play light armor or no armor classes. Tell them to expect to spend a lot of time at sea. They may still end-up on land a lot, but at least they probably won't be jumping off the boat at every possible chance when there's a smaller chance of drowning because of the light armor. I remember one of my first D&D experiences, the DM (whom I had never played with as a DM before and only once as a player) started us at level 12. He let us pick a couple magic items each from the DMG. I picked a glamered +1 chainshirt, a ring of sustenance (because I love ring of sustenance--I tend to drop these as loot in my games), and a folding boat. He was hesitant to let me have the folding boat but he decided to allow it on the understanding that its use would probably never come up. I wish he had recommended something more practical though, like a magic weapon. But that's the session where my rogue got hit with a Prismatic Trap and got confused and almost killed the party paladin in one round. I ended up spending the rest of the game dominated by the mystic theurge. But anyway, I still liked that folding boat, even if I never got to use it.

I'm a fan of longships myself. I want to build one, but I don't have a place to launch it or keep it, for that matter. Longships rule in most maneuvaribility situations, but the sail configuration sucked a lot. I might consider a sloop-riged longship...
But if I do build a boat it'll probably be a pirogue anyway.

I ran a short naval campain for a while - the characters were asked by a local lord to assist with some problems they were having out on a lake. A big lake. I live in Michigan, so I'm used to those.
Anyhow, in order to keep my heavy fighters spirits up with the threat of drowning ever present, I encouraged them to purchase lighter armors for the time being - a few of them groaned, because their AC took a big hit (it sucks going from platemail to a chain shirt!) but the party's wizard assured them he wouldn't let them drown. They were about level 8, and he prepared a crap ton of strength and dex buffs for them.
After the naval adventure concluded, they landed on an island and fought the big boss, and I rewarded them with some rings that would let them breathe underwater for a short period of time.
I make it a point to cause them to be near water hazards because of it, I.E.: scaling a cliff face behind a raging waterfall. Tumble + Swim gets you far in my campaigns.

Just posting another picture of our campaign. This is when the party had defeated the kir-lanans (you can see one dead on the ground there) and were fighting the gloom golem (using a clay golem mini). The hippogriff and three (dire) lions are all summoned. (Dire lions and lions are both large-sized creatures so I'm using dire lion miniatures for regular lions.) The summoned creatures can't actually hurt the golem because they don't have the means to overcome its damage reduction (DR 10/good), but the three lions all get to make automatic grapple attempts with each bite attack that hits (thanks to Improved Grab), so they're all attempting to grapple, which effectively prevents the golem (which is mindless) from really attacking the party because he's busy grappling. The red outline on the ground is a Silence spell because gloom golems emit a constant unearthly wail that causes penalties to those who hear it. The players were having a bit of a time with this guy because he has DR 10/good and nobody had a good-aligned weapon, and he has Spell Resistance. They should just be thankful he was mindless. So in short, my players attacked the monster with a lot of grappling. Did I mention we use a lot of grappling in our game? This photo is from 08 August 2009, which I think was our most recent session. I plan to have regular sessions again in mid-November.

I think the next scripted encounter is against a howler. I don't have a mini for that so I'm planning to use a greater barghest mini for the howler. The one after that is against five flameskulls, I think. I do have five of those that I got specifically for the encounter. They fought an otyugh early on in the game and I've since learned to appreciate the otyugh more so I want to insert another otyugh encounter somewhere. I don't have an otyugh mini yet but I want to pick one up, as well as a gorgon (of the metal bull variety). There is a gorgon encounter upcoming.

My brother was off for Thanksgiving break this past week so we planned to do D&D last weekend. I sent out the e-mail to organize. I heard back from one player who said he couldn't make it and one who said he was coming. My brother obviously said he could make it, and one of his friends never replies but we always assume he can make it. We didn't hear back from anyone else.
On the day of the game, the one who said he could make it canceled because he was sick, but the one who we never hear from was there and he still wanted to play even though it was just him with my brother and I so I decided to have them roll up level 6 Pathfinder RPG characters with the intention of running Expedition to Castle Ravenloft in Pathfinder RPG and setting it in the country of Ustalav (a Ravenloft knock-off) in the Pathfinder Chronicles Golarion setting.
My brother created his character, a cleric of Sarenrae (a sun goddess), relatively quickly (PFRPG streamlines character creation). His friend took all evening to make a paladin and never could finalize which deity he wanted. He finally went home when the paladin was nearly complete (no deity, and he hadn't picked between a bonded mount or a bonded weapon, which is an option for a PFRPG paladin). My brother was still there so I convinced him to let me run a makeshift encounter for his new character.
His level 6 cleric fought 4 zombies, 2 wights, 1 huecueva (another undead), and a vampire spawn. There was also a human cultist there but the cultist fled. I used the monsters as they appear in the Pathfinder Bestiary (and bonus Bestiary for the heucueva).
The cleric was level drained 3 levels in the course of the fight but he managed to destroy all but the vampire spawn. He had to flee the vampire spawn in the end. He made all his saves to prevent the negative levels from becoming permanent. (Permanent negative levels are removed by cleric spells, Pathfinder doesn't have actual permanent level loss.)
On Wednesday his friend was here again so we decided to actually start playing... but wait... His friend wanted to play a fighter instead. He managed to roll a fighter much much faster and we were able to actually play.
I started them into Expedition to Castle Ravenloft, using the previous under encounter as a plot hook for the cleric. They arrived in Barovia (in Ustalav on Golarion in our game). They fought the first encounter. I didn't make any adjustments to the monsters to adapt them from 3.5e to PFRPG. I ran them as written and, where feats and abilities were concerned, I treated them as their Pathfinder equivalents. This didn't matter very much for this encounter since it was mostly adventure-specific 6 HD variant zombies that don't have feats anyway.
It was a close fight at points. The fighter was down to 7 hp at one point. The cleric was down to about half hp once. They managed to pull through though.
Pathfinder clerics are much more potent against undead than 3.5e clerics. If this had been a 3.5e encounter, I don't know that the two of them would have survived.
In Pathfinder the good-aligned cleric gets Channel Positive Energy instead of Turn Undead. The cleric can choose to have it heal living creatures in the area-of-effect for 1d6 hp per two cleric levels or harm undead in the area-of-effect for 1d6 hp per two cleric levels. The undead get to make Will saves to only take half damage. Turn resistance is channel Resistance in Pathfinder instead. It provides a bonus to the Will save to resist the damage.
My brother's cleric had Sun Domain, which says in its description that the undead do no get to add their Channel Resistance to their will saves. He also had a feat that increased the save DC for his channeling 2 points. So the DC to resist his positive energy was 19 total and the undead didn't get to add their channel resistance. Actually, none of the undead in that fight had channel resistance (turn resistance) that I recall, but for creatures that have channel resistance, Sun domain clerics are not something they want to cross.
================================================
My latest obsession has been organizing my GameMastery item cards. I plan to try to get 3 of each non-random deck so I have 3 of every item. I'm presently a subscriber to the GameMastery cards line so they mail me new decks as they come out.
Two sets were released as random boosters. This weekend Paizo has them marked down to $1.00 per booster or $10.00 per display (normally $41.88 per display, 12 boosters per display) so I ordered 4 displays of each set. That's 11 cards x 12 boosters per display x 8 displays. 1,056 item cards.
I am never going to want for item cards, that's for sure. The main reason I wanted these random sets is to use as mundane loot and potions. Buying the non-random decks, I only get one appearance for each potion per deck.
I plan to open one display of Hero's Hoard and one display of Relics of War to start. Then when/if I need more cards from their sets, I'll open another display.
================================================
In the GameMastery Item Cards line, currently I have:
2x Adventure Gear 2x Elements of Power 2x Rise of the Runelords 2x Curse of the Crimson Throne 2x Second Darkness 2x Legacy of Fire 1x Adventure Gear 2 1x Council of Thieves 1x Wondrous Treasure 1x Dragon's Trove (a 110 card non-random set) 1x Essentials (a 110 card non-random set) 9x Hero's Hoard booster packs (11 card random boosters, I got all of these free with various orders)
Ordered or in the mail, I have: 1x Adventure Gear 1x Elements of Power 1x Rise of the Runelords 1x Curse of the Crimson Throne 1x Hero's Hoard booster pack (I ordered before the markdowns) 1x Adventure Gear 2 4x Hero's Hoard display 4x Relics of War display
Next I plan to order 2x Council of Thieves because there's a misprint in the first run of Council of Thieves cards and they have the set logo for Legacy of Fire on them. My current set has this logo and I'd like to have three matching sets.
Then I'd like to pick up two more Dragon's Trove sets. It was originally intended as a 110 card set of random cards sold in boosters but Paizo's customers had a negative response to the random distribution so Paizo sold it as a 110 card non-random set instead. Aside from the Essentials deck, it is the only non-random 110 card set. They seem to have firmly adopted the 54 card decks as the format since then.
The Essentials deck is a non-random 110 card set comprised of cards from the original and out-of-print deck Item Pack One (only four cards from this deck), and cards from Hero's Hoard and Relics of War. So, since I'm buying massive quantities of Hero's Hoard and Relics of War, I have no plans to get any more Essentials decks. I'm just trying to figure out how to organize my Essentials deck with the other decks. I suppose I'll mix it with the random cards.
Next month the Weapons Locker deck is scheduled to come out.
As you would expect, it's all weapons. I am a little disappointed that a pistol, rifle, or revolver didn't make it into the set. Dragon's Trove has a pistol in its set though so at least there's that.
================================================
I'm still trying to figure out exactly how I plan to implement these cards in my game. I've used some of them, but I don't have a streamlined system for the table yet.

I haven't had a single session of my 3.5e Cormyr game since the last one mentioned above. I'm thinking about sending an email to see if the people involved in that campaign are still interested in playing. I did run a session of Expedition to Castle Ravenloft after the one mentioned above, but it's just a pick-up game. I'd be interested in playing in it some more, but the two players who were in it would rather play Kill Doctor Lucky, a Paizo boardgame I got. Also, somebody asked me about this recently so I'm posting a link here so I can find it easily again if I want it: Faiths and Pantheons Web Enhancement: Deity Do's and Don'ts ( www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20020504a). This contains, among other things, the lists of colors for the deities, as well as their favored plants, animals, and other information. Not to mention additional paladin and monk orders beyond those listed in Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. (We already have them listed on our orders tables here.)

OK, I'm going to try something new.
Miniature painting.
I've ordered a half-dozen metal miniatures to try my hand and they should arrive on Wednesday. (Three loose Reaper miniatures--an Angel of Radiance and two cute little women, a six-pack of female miniatures based on the artwork of Larry Elmore, and a little miniature of Dr. Lucky from the boardgame Kill Doctor Lucky.)
I got Privateer Press Chaos Black spray primer, a Games Workshop Citadel Hobby Starter Kit (includes basic paints, a brush, snips, two types of glue, imitation grass, and hobby sand for decorating the base), a set of needle files for filing the flash, an X-Acto #1 knife, some "Green Stuff" epoxy, 15/16ths-inch diameter washers to use as bases because I don't like the 30mm diameter of the metal bases I've seen, and Army Painter spray clear matte finish. (The Army Painter spray can actually says it is "matt" finish though, and that bugs the Hell out of me but I checked dictionary.com and it's apparently also correct.)
I could probably use some more brushes so I'm not using one brush for everything, and I've also considered that I might need a vice for holding the miniatures, as well as some sort of magnification. The guy at the game store that I spoke with also recommended some stuff that causes glue to dry faster, but I'm not too worried about that yet since I'm hoping to rely mostly on the green stuff for basing. Oh! I should get some fine sandpaper too.
So, for anyone here on the forum that does miniature painting, is there any advice I should hear?

I have to admit having rather large pile of little tin men. They work wonders when playing PnP with good surface. I found painting calming stuff to do, but have not done any for ages. First, net is full of good advice, but what comes to mind first is you need more brushes. And good quality, bad brushes will cost more since they will not last, and save your nerves. Allthough you could save poor ones for doing drybrushing. One for close work, couple of larger ones, and one for primer (unless you have it in can) is a good to start. Black primer works neatly with armoured characters, otherwise white is the usual one. But, you can do some quick work with black primer too, drybrush dyes on top of it and you get strong contrast in no time. Then, to save trouble, you could grab few bottles of inks. Magnification is not really so important unless you have poor close vision (as i do after lasering my myopic eyes to get rid of glasses)
That was not guru advice, but just what i thought at first to add. Have fun, it is childish hobby, but we should care not.

Yeah, I talked to the guy at the games shop. He said to use sable brushes as they hold their shape longer, and he mentioned some special kind of sable brush he prefers but he said he wouldn't recommend it for someone starting out because they're expensive.
I will get some more brushes. I should probably get some white primer too, but I've been reading various threads and I've heard some people say they only use white primer and some say they only use black primer so I'll probably worry about trying white primer once I see how the black works.

I've been acquiring supplies and my miniatures are supposed to arrive tomorrow. The miniatures I selected mostly wouldn't be ones that would show up in a game either, with the exception of the Doctor Lucky miniature and maybe the Angel of Radiance, which would do for an astral deva in a minute. I mean, I bought Oktoberfest Fraulein and Magician's Assistant. I suppose Magician's Assistant could be an eccentric female mage and Oktoberfest Fraulein could be a tavern wench, but how often do you need a tavern wench mini? The guy at the game store tells me that if I like painting miniatures I'll be playing Warhammer soon. (The local game store is much more Warhammer and war game-centric than RPG-centric. They do carry the latest Pathfinder books though.)

I'm so proud of you Munroe! You are a full fledged gamer now..painting miniatures and all! That reminds me, I need to send out an email to my group that I'm going to try for a D&D session this Saturday. We're -STILL- playing Cormyr: Tearing of the Weave. They are just starting the final chapter. Next encounter? Canoloths.

Got my miniatures today.
Of the ten miniatures I got, only three require limbs or body parts be attached. That means I'm doing those three last.
So far I've washed all the miniatures in soapy water and cleaned off the flash.
I want to do a little bit of filing on the Doctor Lucky miniature because he looks like he was molded in two parts and the two parts weren't matched up quite perfectly so he has a seam across his bald head.
He'll probably be the first one I attempt to paint, followed by the magician's assistant, who requires basing.
I plan to base all of them on metal washers, but she was made for a slotted base so she can't stand on her own. I've also trimmed her basing slot down to fit in the hole in the washer.
Next stop... priming.

OK, I've primed the Doctor Lucky miniature as well as one of the Larry Elmore miniatures that wasn't exceptionally detailed (just in case I primed too heavy, I didn't want to lose details).
I haven't primed the magician's assistant yet because she needs based and that's the next project. It will be my first experience with Green Stuff. I kind of wish I had put these two on washers before priming them, but they have built-in bases that I'm just going to attach to the washers for uniformity. While I was priming them, I realized they weren't attached to the washers yet and made sure to prime a couple of the washers to match so I can attach them next, I guess. I'm tempted to put each one on two washers instead of just one for added height and weight.
Sean K. Reynolds recommended a particular kind of SuperGlue (Loctite SuperGlue gel) when I asked how to attach limbs and stuff, so I plan to get some of it and my trial run with it will be in gluing Doctor Lucky to a black-primed washer.

They make very good superglue nowadays, but it works well only if parts fit in snugly. Often you can not get that fit, especially with larger parts. You need a small pinvice, a pen like small drill, some metal wire to make rods and holes then. I found two part cement glues work well if there is bit of empty space, but no real room for make pinning fix. Using washers as bases seems like cool idea. Cheap, uniform and heavy.
Sidenote, seemed that figures just got bigger and bigger and still were officially same scale. Last Warhammer brand ones i had were just too large for my like. And those really needed some sturdy pins to keep multipart ones together.
When i check nowadays of figures they are just marvelously detailled, too large, and too expensive.
I liked it when this all was an arcane cult thing, but then again i was 20 years younger then, haha.
Perseverance.

Yeah, heard about the pin vice before, as well as a suggestion of using metal from small paperclips as the pegs. I have what I've mostly seen referred to as Green Stuff. It's Kneadatite two-part epoxy. I plan to use it for basing the magician's assistant and the other one that is intended for a slotted base (Oktoberfest Fraulein), as well as the assembly of the angel once I get a pin vice, but for the two that just need hands attached, I'm looking at the Superglue. I also expect it should do the trick for attaching them to the washers, but if it doesn't, I'll try something else.
