Alright, I may have only been playing this for about a year, and for about half of that period in time I haven't been on due to sever computer complications. But I still have noticed something that I find very odd.
The whole craft armor and craft weapon system. Now I'm not knocking the system, but it seems to me that to be able to create any form of magical... anything, you need a magical background, but even after asking many people. I seems that PC's just can't make magical items, like armor and weapons. So now, after looking at the game I noticed that there are rarer minerals for item creation, like adamantine and mythril. So what's the equivalent for an adamantine weapon to magic one? Same with mythril armor... or can you not make adamantine weapons.

you can...we (FRC) just don't have a crafting system right now. I'd like to install/implement one, but I don't know if I'll get to it before NWN2 comes out...I know we will have one for that, and we might have one for FRC in the future, just not in the immediate future. You are right you do need a magical background for creating magical weapons...the thing with adminitine and mythril, and other components is because of the special material when you make armor/weapon from them they are considered a +1 item.

So, would the crafting DC's be higher for creating a weapon made of adamatine, than the DC of a weapon made by regular materials. And by how much? I mean, it would be high I know so that a low level player wouldn't be able to make +1 equivalent weapons, but would it be so high that mid lvl PC's wouldn't be able to make them either?
Edit: I actually tried to create something awhile back with some adamantine, but found the DC's to be in the high to mid thirties just for making a shield and basic armors. I mean I make Ironwood staves and clubs, but those are the same dc's for that of oak...

As I recall, adamantine has a crafting DC of 25 in NWN and the gold cost is high too. This is because adamantine makes +2 equivalent gear.
Mithral, which has a higher gold cost, makes weight reduction gear and armours with decreased chance of spell failure. Crafted mithral armours do not have AC bonuses, however. I find that strange myself, since it costs so much.

you cannot make magic weapons in this game.
You can mage magic armour with adamantine and mithril, but that's it.
A mithril shield gives you freedom of movement which is kinda cool. Mithril chain has the properties of elven chainmail- wizards can cast spells in it.
Adamantine helmet and armour give +2. The DC to make them is from 27-30.
