canibal corpse is a metal band with lyrics so filled with profanities they can't legally publish them in the folder you get with the CD... ;D heavy metal (other than iron maiden, metallica and megadeth) is part of the subculture so not alot of people know about it unless they actually look for it. canibal corpse isn't something new. metal doesn't get old...

metal corrupts the mind of the listener, and alters there outlook on life in a negative, and disturbing way. I LOVE IT!

Well...were all kinda the drummers and the guitarists at the same time...just hit the drums as hard as possible, pull random strings on the guitar (i know im not pulling the strings i'll be hitting my guitar on my drum to make as much noise possible) and screaming into a microphone

I listen to my Yuki Kajiura songs. She's a brilliant composer, and almost all her stuff is perfect for a fantasy setting. My cousin also loves her and plays her when online. (On the note of my cousin, I'm sorry for diverging from the topic, but I thought I'd tell you all now that Nessus won't be on anymore. He's far too busy with his little job to spend time on us worthless gamers. [He said something different, but he uses big words that are hard to spell, the smart little punk.]) Back to the topic, I also listen to My chemical romance when on, but not as often. It somewhat detracts from my playing ability, which the gorgeous lyrics of my beloved Kajiura could never do. Even when I'm engrossed in her, I can still focus on the lesser task of gaming.

i threw on the soundtrack from the movie Last of the Mohicans, one of the few movies i liked better then the book, and man, that soundtrack is perfect for fantasy playing.

I put on headphones and listen to the module sound effects alone. It completes the immersion.
I used to listen to other music while I played, but I kept finding myself getting caught up in the music and not paying any attention to my hit point bar.

Just got back from seeing Nine Inch Nails in concert...they still got it..made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside thought I'd share. Wasn't it f**king awesome?! I've seen them three times on this tour. One pre-concert show in Davis (California), one in Indio (also California) at the Coachella festival, and in Sacramento. It was soooo cool. How big was the venue? Did they bust out the massive curtain and to the projector video?! WAAH! So cool...

yah I loved the curtain show...specially the part when they showed Bush dancing at the end of the war montage..the crowd gave him a "just" oviation hehe loudest boo I've ever heard. Oh and when the baboon chased down the flock of seagulls....that was sweet. but ya the concert rocked...still alive with piss and vinegar.

Well.... Right now I'm listening to old men talking about how Enron f*cked everyone over... But in respects to music, I usually listen to Tom Waits, Nick Cave, The Cure + some nordic bands, mainly what could be termed 'folkmetal' ;D
