Half-Orcs in regal attire begin appearing in most Cormyrian Settlements. They step forward and add notices to boards and serve as callers making an controversial proclamation.
HEAR YE, HEAR YE
Sons and Daughters of Cormyr,
I, Urbuchek Son of Kalchek,
Do hereby declare irrevocably that the STONELANDS are tamed and under my dominion.
I hereby declare the Old Rite of Barony. In the past, the Crown has offered title and control to any that would serve it and control these lands.
The Stonelands belong to the Orcs and to Cormyr. My emissaries bring this message not just to the LORDS but the PEOPLE whom they RULE
I, Urbuchek, do hereby declare myself a Baron of Cormyr.
Any who trespass uninvited into the Stonelands or the homes of any of our United Tribes:
Remnant Orcs from the Dragon War and Silver Rush
The Sons of Nalavarra
The Immortal Horde
Or seeking to cause them harm will be declared Traitors to the Crown of Cormyr and to Me.
The Stonelands are Sovereign. A new Nation formed from Chaos that now seeks Peace.
In order to fully emancipate these lands as Cormyrian that Orcs and Humans may live together.
In order to avoid War and find new trade in a prosperous future, I hereby demand:
First, that I, Urbuchek, son of Kalchek and my Ambassador, Vudash Kourd are recognized as Cormyrian Nobility by the Hearts and Blood we have shed to make this possible. That we are recognized by Title as Baron and Guardian Regent of the Stonelands.
Second, that Representatives of the Crown meet with me to discuss legal terms for the annexation of the Stonelands and formal agreement guaranteeing a Home for Orcs in all of the Forest Kingdom
Third, the honorable and mighty General Magamon whom was murdered wrongfully will be returned to his people for proper burial.
Fourth, that enemies of the Orcs that have drawn blood from my people in their reckless and witless hunt for me be punished and given to the Orc Nation for trial and judgement: Namely, the repulsive and vile butchers of Clan Oghrann, their Hammers.
and the "Cormyrian Adventurers" behind the recent organized attack on orc tribes throughout the lands. Anyone who provides information about the identities of these criminals to my emissaries will be Rewarded in a Lion's Share of Coin
So declares,
Urbuchek, Son of Kalchek,
Baron of the Stonelands

A squire can be seen reading one such proclamation, a wry smirk grows as he turns leaving back toward the capital. "I'll wait to hear what the Crown has to say about this before I make any further attacks. I doubt this will go as the orc lord has planned." He shakes his head and chortles to himself. "Orc, living among the civil people of the Forest Kingdom, why don't we just let rats into our granaries too."

Riziel would immediately turn to anyone near to the proclamation and say "I've got my doubts about this. It just seems like a poorly orc-hestrated power grab to me."
He would immediately follow that line up with jazzhands, regardless of anyone laughing.

A woman in white and blue stops to read a new notice that has appeared. Instantly her eyes narrow as a snear forms on her lips. "Dagomar." She speaks firmly to grab his attention, her eyes never leaving the notice.
A noble orc? That's laughable. A threat to Clan Oghrann? Now that... that's unforgivable.

Manus walks out of his bakery as a hin rushes up to him and thrusts a parchment into his hands. Reading the proclamation, he starts to laugh until he gets near the end. His face gets stony and his brows furrow.
"If e thins dis be over....It juss be startin."
He crumbles the parchment and throws it in the nearest trash can

A red head dwarf in full armour, bearing a massive hammer and a war-horn decorated with the Oghrann star hanging on his belt stops to read the note pinned at a pole in Great Gaunt. Clearly angry and outraged he then speaks as Bentin passes by during his daily watch:
-Swagger! Those tuskers are nuts! I’d LOVE to see those motherless arse sniffers crap eaters bampot howlin' hackets even TRY to lay their filthy hands in a single dwarf und live to tell da storie! This Ur-Butt-Cheek will need bigger bollocks if he thinks he can threat any dwarf und be easy at this hollow braggery.
As he angrily speaks, he rips off the paper from the pole and heads in direction of Skull Krag.

Somehow.. some way Oghma's knowledge passes to his priestess' ears. Runa ponders a moment, lifting her eyes from a randy novel; pursing her lips all the while. "Ahh.. if this be truth. I desire to pay a visit to the new Baron.. Binder willing." With a curious smile, the Ohgmanyte returns her attention to the pages once again.

Siphanien nods calmly hearing other adventurers talking about this proclamation. She remembers the half-orc being in Great Gaunt and a dwarf being aggressive towards it on which she reacted and shielded the half-orc from. "Proclamation or not, wrong or not, aggressive responses towards this, inside settlements that the locals should feel safe in should not be tolerated."

Marister frowns as he reads the notice. He murmurs to himself. "So the gauntlet has been thrown and the bluff called. Let the games begin." He heads back to the Guardian Grove.

*Mara pauses on her way from one end of cormyr to the next, running her unending errands for company business, folding her plate encased arms over her chest as she listens to a proclamation being read by one of the regally attired half-orcs. As the speech goes on, her brows lift higher and higher, her usually studiously bland features showing what seems to be true surprise*
"Well, you gotta give credit where credit is due, that sort of move takes some stones. Now to see which nobles try to play this to their gain...be nice to cull the herd with a good civil war." *she speaks mostly to herself, but in her usual manner, not really bothering to lower her voice enough not to be overheard, shaking her head and ignoring any looks from those who might take offense at her statement, hitting the road again*

The aged knotty muscled stout was leaving and about to do some exploring when he was stopped by the Oghrann Scout Bili who then handed him a copy of the announcement. When he first read through it, the veins in his bald head became quickly pronounced as the enraged stout blurted out “Tuskers calling out Clan Oghrann as butchers and Villains?! PAERTH! Better chance o seeing a one arm hin swinging a GreatAxe!” He punctuated the statement as he spat on the ground. After his instant flash of anger, the grizzled sagacious stout calmed himself and then reread the declaration. As he truly began to examine the message, he stroked at his fiery colored beard and pondered its possibilities and meaning. He gave a small grunt before stating his thoughts to the scout.
“Tuskers calling us out as enemy and den also trying ta play in da game of nobles. A bold move, that could possible pay off if foolish folk aint listening past da words on da paper. But a true dangerous game fer da tuskers to be play'n, I think I rather play paddy cake wid a sword spider den play da game dey be attempting, at least wid da sword spider ye might live through it. Let's just hope dat Clangeddin willing we get da opportunity ta slay this treacherous Baron Tusker Scum of Stonelands Urbuchek befer da crown, nobles, and who knows else git dare hands and steel on him. I'm sure ye already did but make sure da Warden and da udder Hammers know of this.”

A figure wrapped in a cloak passes by a noticeboard. Clearly of dwarven build, and an unknown face to the locals, he grunts dismissively as he reads the various notices upon it. His gaze locks upon the lower lines of this particular pronouncement, before he looks about cautiously, and moves on.
He pauses on the road, cloak wrapped tight against the night's chill, and mutters audibly.
"The Elders spoke true. And my Pilgrimage aided. And all by the unwitting aid of of this Orcish foe."

Chell walks by... As he reads he curls his mustache with a raised eyebrow... Shakes head few times as well... After reading he clears his throat, checks his gear and simply goes to Stonelands to whack orcs.

A hooded elven figure in form-fitting grays and browns reads the first notice. Her expression remains unreadably serene; slightly raised eyebrows being the only reaction to begin with.
....
Sometime later the elfess starts pinning her own notices below the proclamations.
"Unless you return the elven artifact you violently stole from the Ark of Hullack, you, Urbuckek, Son of Kalchek, cannot be considered as anything other but a simple thug and thief."

Bao would stop to read the notice as he bought supplies in the quiet town of Eveningstar. Naturally, he felt a frustrating pressure in his mind. To think that these orcs were putting this much effort into "peace..." There was no way this approach would ever work, demanding those wild terms. And on top of that, all of this Urbuchek nonsense would surely bring trouble to Bao's friends. Bao worked hard to keep his restaurant a peaceful place, and he wasn't going to orcs ruin it. This is going to be difficult...

*Calah stops to read the proclamation.*
“So ... he who has a bounty on his own head declares ‘criminals’ and ‘traitors to the crown’ those who act on the bounty placed by the very crown he declares them traitors to. I’m not exactly sure how that works, but sure, let’s go with that.”

Riders speed through the Eastgate, Horngate, and Field Gates of Suzail, bearing the royal sigil and colors upon their banners. Taking roads east, north, and west from the Crown City, the heralds ride forth in response to the Warlord Urbuchek's emissaries. The markets and taverns of Suzail are also visited by heralds who proclaim the Crown's response.

*As Urbuchek makes his response to the sorties against his holdings, and the kingdom makes its response, Erynne sits quietly in a chair by a fireplace, sipping on a mug of hot cocoa, the reflection of the licking flames dancing around the enigmatic gleam in her eyes. As the hubbub and fuss go on "out there," she quietly takes another sip, lightly smacks her lips, and enjoys the warm, comforting glow of the fire.*

Messengers have been dispatched from the Pilgrim's Path heading towards Arabel, Skullcrag, and Greatgaunt.
Little by little as the days pass, groups of men, women, and children who are not combat-ready are escorted from the Pilgrim's Path towards Eveningstar. From there they branch out to the Temple of the Defenders, the House of Healing and Torm's Temple in Castle Crag. Others make way to the residences of their family members within the kingdom.
