Among the various noticeboards througout the kingdom a letter with the Alizarin seal is pinned...
To the Curious and Explorative alike,
The Alizarin Academy of Bardic Lore would l like to invite you upon a journey of wonder. Explore the mystical depths that Cormyr has to offer in hopes of better understanding those forces which affect our lives everyday. Please join us in our exploration of forgotten ruins and partake in discourse over the fabric of reality. Our discussions focus in on those places in Cormyr where the strands of the Weave have been weakened and the walls dividing our plane from the next have been cracked. The explorations shall depart from the Alizarin Academy but for those unable to make the journey themselves a guide shall be present in Great Gaunt to lead the way prior to every trip. Dates, destinations and times shall be posted here in the coming days.
Mistress of Sorcery for the Alizarin Academy of Bardic Lore,
// These outings will be slower paced roleplay and exposition based events focused typically on the mid level range of 11-21. For any questions please contact me in game or in PMs! See you there!

5th of Ches: We shall begin our study in Mystra's Grove. Here we will discuss the most prevalent principles and theories governing the Art in the current age. Most notably we shall be discussing the Weave and its function. How to maintain the Weave and how it is a force that protects and aids each and every being throughout the cosmos. After the initial discussion our gathering shall venture out into the Bramblewood where we shall view first hand what happens when the Weave is abused.
14th of Ches: Our search for understanding will next delve into the field of elemental magic, how it relates to the planes, how it can be used for more than evocation, and what is needed from the elements and the Weave to maintain Fearun as we know it today. Furthermore we will expose what happens when these standards are not met. We shall be traveling along the southern road between Great Gaunt and Valkur's Roar to a forest now held dear to the deity Talos.
19th of Ches: We continue our research into the elemental forces by traveling into the Stormhorn mountains near Skullcrag. Here we will discuss the Primordials and their relation to the Weave. How they interact with the Weave, and how many uses of the Art, that are easily taken for granted, would be impossible were it not for their presence. Of course any such discussion could not possibly take place if we were not to discuss over reliance upon any one such element or the abuse of said element.
28th of Ches: On this day we will begin broadening our understanding of the Art and its use. We will look beyond mere spells and enchantments that take little more than a few minutes to cast and focus on the much more complex and powerful forces that can be applied to our realm through ritual. I have at this time identified two such examples of ritualistic magic and together we shall explore how they were formulated, the tasks needed to bring such rituals to preparation and the cost of these rituals.
// All events will begin at 1030 pm GMT/ 530 pm EST/ 0930 am ACT. If you wish to attend but are running late, or plan to be just a bit later either reach out to me in game, through PM's here on the forums or ask for my discord and of course we can discuss it there. Please keep in mind these events are for the level ranges of 11-21. Some of these events will offer little experience or reward while others may be truly harrowing endeavors. In both cases we shall strive for great roleplay and I hope to you there! I forgot to add! Ches = March! Silly me.
