I realize now I probably should have asked here, not the DM QA.
Anywhere i can find the basics to the crafting system? Like how to make better quality arrows? Or isbmy craft weapon skill going to remain useless?

The formula is described in the journal.
You need material + template the "crafting tool" and the crafting location. The script will then give you the cost and DC. Failure is also a soft state not a hard state (best i can say within the exploration wishes of the DM)

Or that posessing the knowledge to craft, you would know what you need. Didnt realize the basics were hush hush. I guess I better hope sone arrow templates exist, because making plaih arrows actaully costs more than buying lol I always feel like I am getting boned when low-mid tier things are a secret as I tend never discover secrets.

Arrows are currently under devoloped in terms of options. However all weapons and armor have got a very wide and clear means of options.

After buying tools and blue prints, I encountered a table (I RPEd for directions to) with no clear means to make the gloves. I then tried monkeying with the table in multiple ways hoping it would prompt some script of what I needed. It did not.

Thing is, you can use the same template with different materials. For example, you can use the various armor templates with steel, dwarven or elven steel, or different metals in order to make different types of armor. There's some information available, hopefully enough to get you started, in the thread: frc.proboards.com/thread/24115/book-crafting-available-form

What is available for the "beta" arrows is still a bit of a mystery (why woukd vendors offee materials to craft arrows if you can only make plain arrows at a higher cost than just buying would be beyond me)
