When you click on the link you may get an add... at the top of the running add is a link that says "continue to NWN Vault..." If you continue you will find the CEP patch. Sometimes it takes a bit to load, but I assure you it is there. I wouldn't steer my players wrong. I trust you inplicitly Justi, but it not work.. I just get the Neverwinter Night Vault with a title of HAKPAKS and a note under it that says, "This Entry is Not Approved" Wow... you're right. That link was working and it's where I got mine from... odd. Sorry about that.

Since I patched, I've been having trouble with my graphics. When I walk around on the server, the animation becomes all choppy, and in combat it gets worse. I've tried a reinstall and adjusting the settings in game, and nothing works. Any ideas on how I can get back to normal? Try updating your video drivers. This is the typical solution to most video related issues. The fact is this - there is no video on the server end that I am aware of that would diminish your performance or change the way the game is delivered to you. Video is the clients department, and anything related to video perfomance is on your end. You can play FRC on a very low 64mb video card, or on an incredible 512mb SLI video card, it really doesn't change anything but how "good" the game looks. What you are describing sounds alot like an issue with your video card. Without knowing your system specs it is very difficult to diagnose the issue, but if you post them, I will do my best to help. I will say that this issue is almost entirely isolated to your computer as no other complaints about this issue have been reported. My point being, it is on your end, not ours. I found it, and you were semi right. It was on my side, but it was the firewall, not the graphics card. Right after the update my mom went and messed with the firewall settings. I reset them and I can walk again without fear. Weird though that the fire wall only went bonkers when trying to play on FRC *shrugs*

Actually the link no longer works... once you get past the advertisement you get to NWN Vault and in big bold letters you see the message, "This entry is not approved." I tried to find the patch on the CEP site, it isnt there from what I can tell. Any suggestions?

Here is the best solution I can offer: I will personally send the patch for Windows to anyone who asks. It is the exe version so it will come to you, then you will just need to run it. For all the Mac/Linux users, I am afraid you are S.O.L for the time being... I have no idea what is going on and why the patch was recalled from NW Vault. Anyway, please PM me with your e-mail addy or leave it here and I will get it to you asap. Cheers!

Google for a WinRAR software. Its just another type of compression like ZIP files.
