www.reddit.com/r/BeardedDragons/comments/cq49fq/ready_for_bed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2xNot my beardy but this is both lol and cute. It's amazing how owning a few and fostering some - opens your eyes to the fact their intelligence and emotional understanding extends beyond the comically simplified view we have of them. Fun fact: They are intelligent enough to learn via association. You can teach them a come command by using a favorite snack of theirs and repeating/teaching them the sound or word. They can even meet you halfway on learning to be potty trained (this helps reduce a LOT of tank clean up). And yes, I too, am shocked I have joined the ranks of the beardy slave cave, they really aren't kidding when they say "you become their pet".

Finishing its dinner before having dessert? I had a cat that would do the same, catch something outside, but would only eat the catches after he put them into his food bowl. I bet there are forum goers here who may likewise had a "polite" cat.

Levity aside, good luck. As a native Californian, I have some vague inkling of how nasty that is. Hope you can stay safe.

And some people still say Global Warming is a myth.
Glad you are safe, Fox.

Keep us informed and be safe all.
Eucalyptus is literally a fire-starter. It needs fire to reproduce. It produces a highly flammable compost coating the ground with it and in combination with being filled with it's oil, fire must happen eventually. In Australia they have to provoke fires every now and then, and even in such "controlled" situations they often barely manage to avoid catastrophes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Australian Cormyrians and everyone placed at risk by the heatwave and wild fires in Australia. Best of luck to you and be safe.
