I don't think it'll be a problem, but some forward advisory is ahead for imagery here due to how tattoo art can accentuate a body ... just look at this in an artistic fashion.
Often emoted but a bit difficult to visualize, these series of tattoo's shown are attempted representations of what to see and expect.
Quake's back - this is the best I can find today (ignor the central writing), this tattoo style attempt of representation is wrapping up her upper body (front/back), arms inclusive, but not the face
In particular to Quake, the wing tips are slanted 90 to 45 degree's clockwise on either the left or right side (in the case of the left side, counter-clockwise?). They branch out to begin to engulf and wrap her front in a nice styled flow
More winged art choice for tattoo's for either Gjurd or Quake. Gjurd himself typically shows his arm sleeve tattoos. I like 'this' style for both PC's overall. Gjurd does not have a full body angel wing wrap tattoo, only his arm sleeves, a portion of his back, and chest.
Quake's colors are supposed to be blazing, reminiscent of Tempuran colors of valor akin to the holy symbol. Red/fire/orange, etc, so she is 'bright'. Gjurd is black ink only.
Below is what Quake will get to sometime, depending on RP. Just picture it as angel wings only. Some people aren't familiar about full body tattoo's existing out there, so this is at least a visual aid of a possible future. Right now in her RP, this is not a viable choice.
For a point of clarity, Quake's full-upper-body tattooing does not tell a story. It is just a series of feathers, which I guess in one linear aspect could tell a story, but that's not the intent. The style isn't ... Irezumi? I think that's the name as I do some google searching. Irezumi echoes the above pic judging by the colors and imagery. While my PC's may love such a style, it wouldn't fit their background as I have it set up right now. Not to say that couldn't change with IC interactions
Enjoy
PS, in my search among many tattoo's just this day, i found this dude with a tattoo of Aribeth de Tel. from Neverwinter Nights ... nerd on
