Triadic Order letter sent to Greatgaunt Council Memo:Holance

Greetings,

I am requesting the transfer of Marshal Holance Tanars from the Valkur's Roar prison to the keep of the Triadic Order of the Divine Resurrection in the Pilgrim's Path. He will be tasked with remaining upon the Order's grounds pending completion of your investigation. Marshal Holance Tanars is an outstanding member of the community of Cormyr and has done his part in various segments promoting benevolent causes throughout the kingdom.

According to his words he had stood forth and fulfilled his duty as a paladin and a knight of the Triad and eliminated a clear and active threat to the village and people of Greatgaunt. This particular threat manifesting itself once again as the cleric of the Stormlord known as Shiv who carries upon his name quite the violent criminal record and treacherous action to the kingdom and Crown. It is quite questionable how he has not yet managed to establish for himself an outlaw status provided to others of his ilk. In particular, those named Darius, Netharmirth, and Aris.

Placing a paladin with such good standing in prison as though he is a common criminal is a decision unbecoming of the powers that be. The precedent set forth by this decision is not only unjust, but it does the realm a major disservice by effectively disarming those who are willing to act when a crime is committed and instead relegates the good people of the realm to turn a blind eye.

He shows this letter to the Brothers of his Order before sending it to the greatgaunt council-

Dear Sirs and Madams

I hope this sealed letter finds thee all well.

I am writing to ask for mercy be given to my Brother in faith and in Order, Holance Tanars.

I am certain of his character being of noble, fair, just, and compassionate sincerity.

He acted for the greater good wishing to protect the good people of Greatgaunt, both who lived here and those who were just passing through. Aiding thy own guards in thy good work.

Doubt less you are surely aware of Holance's good deeds and service to this kingdom in the past. And if not I will personally bring to thee a letter from his own hand to hear form himself such work good and done for this nation if you will allow me too.

At the very least of his service done for Greatgaunt and Valkur's Roar when he himself was of the Volunteers and the Reserve Guard.

So please ... mercy please be given to Holance. Treat and judge him not as murderer, but as a soul wishing to do good in this world of so much uncertainity and grey.

He is a good man. I would stake my very soul upon this, to its very core.
