Had a conversation with another player online about the effects this spell has when cast in a forest. D20 describes the following:
"When a fire storm spell is cast, the whole area is shot through with sheets of roaring flame. The raging flames do not harm natural vegetation, ground cover, and any plant creatures in the area that you wish to exclude from damage. Any other creature within the area takes 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 20d6)."
Does this apply on FrC, or have I been causing forest fires by accident?
Cheers,

The PnP description should be used unless it is something that is contrary to the implementation of the spell on the server (and let us know, maybe we can make it more like PnP).
I believe that Firestorm only harms enemies in nwn, so this is close enough to the description for you to rp not hurting wildlife, etc.

Default behavior for Firestorm in NWN is that half the damage is fire and half is divine damage, but like Extropy said, it only affects enemies. I'd go with it not harming vegetation (unless vegetation is your enemy). The lower level spell Flame Strike, on the other hand, also deals half its damage as fire and has as divine, but the fire damage hits friendly PCs and NPCs in the area of effect. You should probably be careful with that one in the forest if you're worried about damaging the vegetation.
