Having trouble sleeping so I decided to do a practise piece with a new set of brushes, these are digital oils. I may rework it into something bigger later down the line.

Getting an Amanda Seyfried vibe. I had to look her up because I'm ancient... good call! She has really similar features 👍

I looked back at the first drawing and this last one. Amazing progress. Thanks, the equipment and programs I'm using are way better than what I started with. It does really benefit an artist to try different programs and find one that suits them intuitively. I love my drawing monitor too, I don't know if I could go back to a tablet now. I like looking back even I am a massive self-critic and I tell myself "you could do better now", I can but I like to spot progress. That's what any sketch book is like, full of the stuff you've done on the way to improving.

Previously I used a standard tablet which had no display, can't remember the exact series but it's a basic entry tablet - in other words, it was cheap! The monitor has made a world of difference.

Well, I keep coming up with new brushes, discovering new things and then I look back on what I've done and want to do it all over again. Artists are never fully-satisfied, are they? Here you go offduty ... Lynn has a look of Rhianna as you asked I imagined her outside in her home desert, basking in the morning sun after a chill night while Henrik is busy somewhere in the hospital.

Hey Fint,
I had to look that up as I didn't know that show, I guess they're similar with hair but that's all.
Good to see you around.

Jaran Ashan Florian - revised to incorporate his darker hair to save Stabbing's eyes from the gleam of paladin blond.

Unfinished work in progress, Captain Neckan Blake needs a better portrait so I am taking my time.

As I am playing around with Illustrator and Procreate, a different version of Davina was good practise for me. I love the older version better and I still prefer having the softer naturalistic lines and styles of my other program(it is more like actually painting) but these two are fun to add harder details.

A Triadic Order shield design I did for fun. The Order's motto is written in Celestial.
