* A note is delivered to the Red Ravens*
" The man known as Slate has been seen in Greatgaunt and claims to be a zombie. As necromancy and undead against the laws of Cormyr and nature, and attempt was made to at least capture and contain the creature for verification.
It is highly doubtful he is one and it is possible an attempt to frame Mystogan.
He still has his hat and carries his blades and uses invisibility potions."

*Another message is left for the Red Ravens*
"The zombie known as Slate made another appearance and attacked a man named Luke inside the inn. The zombie ran off to the woods and alluded the pursuers who returned to town in frustration."

//You can't say Bentin ignored the request just because a DM was not online to possess him.

As the sun falls a muffled voice in despair could be heard from various points in town that offers the comfort of the shadows.
"Whyyyyy? Mishtogan whyyyy? Free me! Free meeee!"
At other times the mindless groaning could be heard that may have some similarities to that of zombies and ghouls of folklore.
But a final statement is made before the sun returns to vanquish the horrible night. "Mishtogaaaaan. You did this to me".
EDIT/UPDATE!
Any that do see him would notice a shirtless fellow with a hairy chest. Wounds riddle the exposed portion of his body that may still be fresh and leaking blood. What appear to be burns also surround the wounds. Ultimately though, he would be seen wearing a brown hat with a rather large black feather. His face bandaged heavily. From two slits in the bandaging what appears to be a well kept, pristine 'stache is exposed which betrays his identity ... If one were to believe he was trying to keep the identity .....

The livestock stir in Greatgaunt tonight. Two chickens and a cow, one that has gone unmilked since Slate's gruesome departure from life have been freed from their pens and pasture. They have begun what the farm animals call the Necromancy Uprising. They do so in their native animal languages. "Cluck cluck bacaaaaw" and "moo moo mamoooo" roughly translate to that.
Two chickens and a poor neglected cow are now nothing more than statistics (and arguably a pretty great dinner) since their pursuit to bring Mystogan the Necromancer to justice.

Again, "Slate the Zombie" harassed folk (mostly Mystogan) in Greatgaunt. This time, he also assaulted Nersha and she filed a complaint with the Red Ravens.

Another cow and chicken have been slain at the hands of Mystogan and company in the middle of town. Will their illegal antics as livestock slayers ever cease? Find out next time on FRC: Necromancers vs Domesticated Animals.

Having been petrified and brought to the Red Ravens, the Zombie-Slate was placed into a cell and returned to flesh (decaying, since he was 100% zombie). At that point, he lashed out at Shander and struck at him several times with his daggers before being halted. Then using darts, Zombie-Slate began attacking those within range with darts.
After a failed attempt to burn down the Red Ravens with a torch and the fire that provided light within the cells, Zombie-Slate was disarmed by the dastardly paladin Holance ... Only to attempt to free himself once again by engaging in a fist fight with the Bearded One. Which also did not provide Zombie-Slate a means of escape.
It was only when Zombie-Slate was confronted by Mystogan at the cell when the crowd had dispersed that something had happened. As if under an enchantment or under the necromancer's command, the Zombie-Slate cried out "free me, free me from this miserable existance!" He then took the torch from the failed attempt of setting the cell and building aflame and beat it into his chest, piercing through the flesh. He fell to a knee. Then the other. And the undead laid there destroyed. Finally free from this form.

*Marister was present at the incarceration. Slated acted a mad man and attacked almost everyone and tried to burn down the building. After some time, Marister left the mad man to rant.

The man captured by Shiro and Mystogan is held in the cells and given food each day. All his possessions having been confiscated through the aid of the paladin Holance, and Shander himself.
Having affirmed the man is well and truly living, they give him time to calm. Each morning and night, they ask the man to state his name, waiting for him to be lucid enough to face his charges.

*A freshly baked Dew Berry pie, with a file baked right in arrives at the Red Ravens addressed to Dongler. It is covered by a white hanky that bears a heart drawn in black lipstick. The Hanky has a monogramed "M" on it* styxx

Something starts stinking from the cell after a good two weeks of refusing food.
