Enjoying Amazon's "Carnival Row" even though it is a veiled political statement. I missed the veil, where was that? This show is a fun ride! I held off watching for a while because of how bad I hated the female lead in Valerian, but I guess in that one, she got picked to play the role of "Lifeless Wooden Arm Candy" and nailed it. She gives good Pixie tho. In the end I just had to give Orlando Bloom a shot. Glad I did, this show is great fun! |

I find this entertaining and relatable  Check it out if you have Amazon Prime * Warning: Explicit Content Not Suitable for Children * This show is awesome, the anti-superhero superhero show. One of the best new shows out of any kind, period. Highly recommend. Also if you have Prime and are a sci-fi fan, watch The Expanse, the best science fiction series in years that shows what our solar system might very well resemble in the next three hundred years. The series started on SyFy but they dropped it, and Prime picked up the rights and are coming out with season 4 at the end of the year. |

On one hand...I despise suits, I see them as the clothing of authoritarians. On the other hand......they look so dang nice. I enjoy watching footage like this, everyone, no matter what day it seemed, was in their Sunday best.
Granted I am also romanticizing this footage of the past, when in reality, despite it's quaint low tech beauty, the past was still fraught with violence on (believe it or not) larger and more brutal scale than today. Oh well, a guy and other players here can still admire right?

A series of documentaries on Aghoris.
After a few I have decided it's best for people here to look them up on their own, rather than risking being reprimanded for posting inappropriate content. Despite the macabre nature, they are still very fascinating.
