I've recently got into this show. About 12 episodes deep at the moment. I'm not normally an anime fan, especially when they get all..."anime-ey" and flip out about some past tragedy when their pancakes remind them of it in the middle of a fight and then monologue about the importance of this and how friendship will give them strength...yeah. But this one doesn't bother me so much because of everything else it has going on.
Dude what used to once upon a time play and now won't leave the forums...
Holy crap...let's see if I can explain. I'm an avid Cthulhu and horror fan in general...I spend a fair bit of effort trying to generate that eerie oogy feeling in all of my games at least some. The scene of me eating popcorn, wrapped in a blanket hijab-style on the floor, watching scary crap at 2 AM...this scene clutters my childhood.
Stranger Things has creeped me right the hell out, repeatedly. No goofy ass cheap trick scares either. It's more tame with violence and gore than any video game I can recall playing, but THAT HORROR THOUGH!
A+++, would lose sleep again
Loria: "I do so envy you, having someone like me to admire" Sylya'na'lith: you can take the elf out of the jungle... Vynxinakya Shatterwall: part honeybooboo, part Rosie the Riveter, all Dwarf
"The hell of it was that a nineteenth-century musketball, or even a Neolithic spear, could still kill a twenty-third-century marine. It shouldn't, damnit. It should not be allowed. But that was just it...they never really did...it was your sense of superiority that killed you."
- True Blood I like it because there are some vampires who are real villians in my eyes. Not all are just emos.
- Babylon 5 Old but Gold. I don't watch many SF but this one i find really cool. A good mix of action, Drama and also funny scenes. I love them!
- Working I don't know the original japanese title. But it's a funny Anime series that shows the life of young Japanese who work together. It's not as boring as it may sound. After One Punch man i haven't laughed so much.^^
Player of: Davina Lyre-Chant:"Shining is not all about shining yourself. It's about joining hands and shinig all together." Anna Larsson:"Courage doesn't mean you have no fears. It does mean acting despite your fears because something else is more important."
Anybody seen Wonder Woman yet? Looking for early opinions and such, not spoilers.
Wonderful a little cheesy and clique, but in the right amounts. It does suffer from the same problem almost all origin story comic book movies have in that it's just not long enough to fit everything in, and the villian ends up lacking any depth -- existing only to serve for a fight at the end -- and considering the source character used for the big bad im rather let down by that problem, but it was the only disappointment in the movie. Everything else rocked, an absolute must see if you've got the time.
Gal Gadot and Chris Pine are soooo hot :3

"When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself... first, as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time, as a great hero."
