Lord Ayesunder Truesilver. "Lord High Admiral" and "Warden of the Port of Marsember."
During discussion with Captain Blake of the Black star company and priest of Valkur, as we strolled from Marsember, note was made of the dangers of the shallows west of Marsember on The Dragon eye Way. We discussed the possibility of constructing a lighthouse to warn shipping. We found a high cliff extending out into the shallows, Captain Blake speculated that shipping would need to see a warning from a sea mile so as to warn of the danger. shipping running aground in the vicinity may also fall prey to the monsters of the Steelfields.
If i were allowed to purchase or lease land along this ridge i would endeavour to construct such a lighthouse at my own expense and maintain it to protect local shipping. I would also construct several small dwellings adjacent to the lighthouse. I am unsure at present who owns this land but i am asking for your favour to purchase the land and build the lighthouse
I am Tailor the Bard and i can be reached at the Cloven shield for further correspondence. I await your reply

A clerk in the staff of the Navy yard receives the letter and places it in the High Admiral correspondence pile.

A squire of the royal monster hunters stops by the docks on his rounds, seeking out a clerk. After a brief conversation a few coins and a letter changes hands. The squire continues on his way chatting with soldiers and guards he meets as he makes his way back towards the front gates.
