A woman in green leaves a sealed letter at the Royal Courthouse to be delivered to the real estate office of the Lord Magister. The envelope is made of fine paper and addressed in a squiggly handwriting.
This is what is written, inside:
Dear Madam or Sir,
this letter is to respectfully inquire about the ownership of the lands east of Suzail along the coast and south of the coastal road to Marsember. I would like to learn whether they are held by the crown, nobility, or considered to belong to either the city of Suzail or Marsember.
Should you consider it suitable to send me a reply, it would reach me if left in Espar in either the inn or the Stormhaven House. Otherwise, I shall check back at the Royal Courthouse.
