*A note given to the Wardens at the Entrance to the Settlement*
Brothers and Sisters of Arulem Sylv'stria, I thank you for alerting us of the presence of Dhaerow in the Hullack this day. Upon our investigation, we found many roaming the woods and they were felled immediately. They fought strong, and hard, though as we came across an old building, a tomb perhaps (i am sorry, I do not know what it was called), we came across Keth-do'lae and many others. In agreement, we headed inside where once again, the Dhaerow forces fought with much strength.
I leave this note with you with both good and bad news. Their armies have been killed and the remainder, pushed back. So for now, I consider this a good thing. Though as Keth-do'lae took one as a captive, he spoke of the Dhaerow's plans. Seems one is to attack Arulem Sylv'stria; so I leave this note also a warning, that we must continue to have our eyes and ears vigilant in the tendays to come.
*She hands the letter to the Mathora as she enters the Settlement*
Brothers, Since I last spoke with you, it appears Dhaerow have begun to rise from beneath again. Although spotted in Shallybrook, I ask you continue to make preparations in case another attack is perhaps upon us. I understand Entori has been speaking with you about such things. If in need, do not hesitate to find me in Arulem at the Keryma hall.

*sitting at the grove of the unicorn, near the campfire, the wizard-elf studiously moves symbols from a great tome to page, his face lost in the moment of intense concentration as he diligently moves arcane room from page to paper.*
*the small sound of laughter catches his attention as he looks up, to catch the passing glimps of a child sized figure move tree to tree, and the curious eye, beyond one branch, then another behind another.*
*he grinned, to sullen whispers, and mischievous grins heard from behind the trees. closes the great tome with a snap, work half unfinished. leaning over to pretend to place it in his bag, when the little hands, and feet came tumbling out of the bush tackling the wizard*
..the ensuing laughs and giggles, ...out of the tumble of children, a curse in shamokes name, entori looks to a small elven child, who did not partake, holding a ivory unicorn, with a grim expression that he quickly stows to a smile, he walks over to her and picks her up.
and in a rare moment, tosses aprism above them all letting a sea of colors into the night with a laugh... for all children deserve to smile.
*Taking some time to herself, Daphne walks out into the settlement with her wicker basket upon her arm and dressed in a long dress and a cloak of midnight blue that touches the leaf littered ground as for today, the small Elven markets have begun. With her olive eyes glowing and a warm grin upon her face, she looks around and smiles as the children run past her, chasing one another in a small game of tag.*
"Are you off to the markets Miss Daphne" a woman asks in Elven as she walks beside her.
"I am indeed. I am interested to see what is offered at such an event" Daphne smiles in return.
"You shall not be disappointed then. I hope you enjoy what the harvests bring. Namaarie!"
"Namaarie cousin" Daphne smiles.
*Her smile remains as she looks to the crowds gathered around small stalls of bread, fruits and vegetables. Though she turns her attention to the stall adorned with beautiful bouquets of forest flowers.*
"Miss Daphne. Please, may I offer you some flowers?" the male elf says happily as he dips his head to her.
"I would very much like to purchase some. How much do you ask for the smaller bunch of roses?" Daphne asks, picking up the bouquet of red roses.
"For you, I ask you have them as a token of gratitude. And please, take these for your brothers and sisters of the Keryma" he says smiling.
"I cannot take these..." she responds in shock.
"Please, it is the least I can do" he smiles. With a small smirk, her olive eyes still glowing she dips her head and curtises.
"You are too kind, cousin."
"Please give me regards to the others."
"I shall" she responds placing the roses inside of her basket... Though as her hands leaves the stall's bench top, she places down a small coin sack with gold pieces inside. She smirks and turns away... 'Kindness shall have kindness in return'
Ariean, wearing a green dress, walks towards the statue of Angarradh. She sits down in front of the statue placing between them a small, simple wooden box. The elfess opens the lid and removes a small candle. After lightening it, she lifts it up towards the sky with these words:
"Praise to the Fire Of soothing warmth and burning flame Both respected and feared I beseech you"
Next, the elfess sets down the candle near the box. She opens the lid again and removes a small seed. Craddling it gently in her hands she presents it to the statue.
"Veneration to the Wind Of gentle breeze and howling gale The life giving breath I beseech you"
After these words she places the seed next to the candle and removes a bottle from the box. After opening the bottle she drinks from it. When she's done she pours some of its contents on the ground revealing it to be water.
"Reverence to the Water Of nourishing deliverance and fathomless depths From faerie spring to mother sea I beseech you"
This time, instead of touching the box, Ariean digs with her finger in the dampened ground. While making the small hole she utters
"Honor to the Earth Of the womb of birth and the cradle of death Giver of sustenance I beseech you"
The maiden reaches for the seed and carefully places it in the hole.
"Oh Spirits of the great forest Guardians of nature, watchers of the sacred circles Hear my prayers and give me strength."
"Queen of Arvandor, The One and the Three, Protectress, I call upon You to be here with me now. I need Your guidance as I strive for wisdom and growth. I wish with all my heart to accomplish my desires in a positive way. If these are not to my good, reveal to me the direction to take, and the goals to which I should aspire. I await Your guidance and direction."
Ariean sits for a while in silent prayer, contemplating upon her wishes and the goddess's dogma.
When she is finally done, she murmurs pushing earth over the seed and flattening it gently.
"I give my desires and dreams into Your keeping. By Air, I create the seed. By Fire, I warm it. By Water, I nourish it. By Earth, I cause it to grow. From Spirit, I draw the power to make all things possible. Join me in the celebration of the power of the Goddess."

A Ar'Tel'Quess arrives in the early afternoon, one easily recognized from her frequent if brief visits over the last several moons.
Ess'Aoine moves through the settlement with a warm smile, greeting those she passes with her typical formal manner, sharing in laughter and merriment wherever she can inspire it with pleasantries.
She passes by each shrine, leaving rolled parchments in ever one, though she spends additional time at by those to Hanali and Lebalas.
Finally she settles into the grove where she sets to a slow dancing step, weaving her art in a melodic tone, evoking a scene of a growing tree of soft prismatic light, soon surrounded by fluttering butterflies made of shifting colors. As the day passes, the illusion grows, the little resting spot into a veritable zoo of illusory wildlife that alternatively prowls, grazes, and plays about. While Ess'Aoine continues her slow, stately dance she does not communicate with anyone besides the occasional smile. Meanwhile her illusions prove substantial enough to be played with, and responsive to those that try to interact with them, children able to pluck rabbits, wanderers through able to pat deer, and the delighted able to welcome little birds to settle on their outstretched hands.
Finally the display comes to a slow end, her creations winking out slowly one by one, until only the tree remains, which begins to break up into motes that drift away into the night sky.
With little ceremony the Ar'Tel'Quess sprawls upon the ground, laughing merrily to herself, seeming to mind little the lack of decorum she presents. Thus she remains for the rest of the night.

"The fine line between valuing traditions and social slavery is marked by an individuals right for freedom of choice without prejudice."
"Keen-Eye God of the Hunt You who wanders in the wild lands You who hunts in silent shadows You who lends me strength to do what is necessary Patiance to wait and wisdom to know when to strike"
The quiet words can be heard from a drab-clad figure, siting on her heels in front of a statue of an archer. She places a quiver of arrows in front of her and continues her prayers
"Bless these arrows to be the vessels of victory over my prey. So that this hunt can be done to serve you. And the next kill in your name."
Ariean retrieves her quiver. She removes a pair of arrows and puts them on top of a small pile of similar offerings that has formed by the statue.
"I know that matters of the heart are not part of the Hunt, but I do my share to keep nature's balance and he has pledged to do the Hunter's work. Protect him from the harm of these that would strike him, walk with him in solitude, guide his arrows to hit their mark and his blades to strike true, protect his soul from evil, and protect our hearts from hurt."
Upon the table in the Keryma tower, Daphne leaves a small pile of parcels wrapped in brown paper, each named with black ink upon their corners and tied together by brown string. Though upon of the pile sits a letter addressed to Delfin (mysticalkas). The letter only short, though something seems to be hidden by invisible ink upon the bottom half of the page. Upon opening, the letter would read so:
"Brother, As I had promised, I would leave a letter for you as to the whereabouts of Dina- CIty of Silence. I leave such upon this page. Know that heat shall activate these words.
These packages are individually named, though I ask you deliver them all to Lach'lann Thallan. He will be meeting you upon your arrival. He will know what to do with them.
I trust you journey to be swift and warm winds guide you way. Please give my love to my people by the name of the Lady Avae'ess. 'Tis the name given to me there.
Until we meet again, I look forward to hearing the story of your journey.
Lady Avae'ess of Dina and Warden of the Hullack ~ Daphne Vresor ~"

*he would look upon the pile with a faint smile. taking the letter, he holds it close to the flame of the candle, letting the heat touch the parchment in the corner. He then goes about reading each package, setting them neatly down after inspecting them and placing some wards upon each. he spends his time gathering supplies, he would take notice of one elf, pressing his lips together before moving on about his business*

Meanwhile, in the Elven Settlement...
A young, handsome sun elf with eyes of shining emerald and gold is seen entering the settlement through the portal.
Lord Tulithralas himself, along with several of the elder members of the community greet him warmly, ushering him and his few belongings to honored guest chambers.
Through the remaining daylight, and long into the night, the conversation, the story, the mirth, the smells of a feast and the twinkle of magical light filter out through the gaps in the shuttered windows and doors.
Upon the morn, as rosy fingered dawn breaks to the horizon of the forest sky, the gathering disperses, and those assembled return to their proper abodes.

Last evening, those watching the elven settlement's ancient portal would have noted a striking pair of elves appear -- a bearded, handsome elf familiar to many, all clad in black, accompanied by a willowy moon elf maiden in the silvery white robes and billowing cape associated with one of the Heavenly of Sehanine Moonbow. They conversed together for a great length of time, their conversation interrupted only briefly by the Wardens of Arulem Sylvilstria.
After respectfully parting ways, the maiden quietly moved through the settlement, speaking briefly with Radra at the sacred grove and retrieving a basket of flowers, before continuing to weave through the village. At each of the statues of the Seldarine was placed a brightly colored flower, appearing still freshly kissed with morning dew. Her footsteps ended at the sacred pool, where she was seen slipping the remainder of the blossoms into the darkly reflective waters, before settling at its banks to play upon a small handheld harp.
The melancholy notes that followed were heard long into the night.

*Delfin makes his way into the Hullack to the Last Flagon Inn. From there he spends some time resting before moving on into the deep forest. a few days pass while he makes his way along the hazards of the forest before emerging into the elven home where once he stayed. He looks around the area some and speaks polite words with the guards close by. he makes his way from there to the place he once rested his head. knocking upon the wooden door and waiting for someone to answer. when greeted, he offers a small smile to them and asks if they can see that the note is passed on to Entori. Delfin will then enjoy the quite of the settlement for the next few tenday*

*upon leaving Arulem, Amilith makes his way to the forest edge. He tends to the task he performed within his elven home. reaching into a pouch he produces a small sapling, and with the tender care, he is known for plants the small tree in a clearing, away from wondering travelers. he continues around the Great Forest, measured steps for distance and plants another one. he moves on along the same path to plant a third and finally the fourth sapling. following the same method, he plants them where there are good sun and little travel from others making a small protective ring around them so others would know something is freshly planted. upon completion, he returns to Arulem*
