A advertised over several days, the Tipsy Imp becomes host to an academic lecture, sponsored by the Alizarin Academy and hosted by the Redsong Bard, Mirrir Tharasvin.
Once gathered in benches and at tables, where pizza and lemonaid rests out provided for those that care to indulge, the event carried on as follows:
Fiona Lightfellow: *light chuckle, She looks over to Elith and takes a drink*
Celithiril E'Tylnian: *Moves in from the fireplace and sits quietly*
Padrin Wefnent: *glances over his shoulder*
Fiona Lightfellow: *Raises her bottle and smiles briefly in acknowledgement*
Padrin Wefnent: *then turns back to face the front*
Mirrir Tharasvin: We'll start shortly, but humor me for a moment perhaps. Eishur dear, is a kobold, in your opinion, related to dragons? Or do you suppose they might merely be a type of lizardfolk? *she lofts a brow towards Eishur expectantly*
Elith Jr'ein: He is choosing his words wisely. *nods*
Padrin Wefnent: *chuckles lightly*
Fiona Lightfellow: Hey, theres a first fer' everythin'
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm, one must when at the point of the proverbial academic rod, hmh.
Eishur Greyshade: Kobolds are reptiles of sorts I've been told, many do claim they decend from dragons but then monsters and such are not in my field of study.
Mirrir Tharasvin: mm. Very good. And what about you, master Samman? *she focuses on Rorin* Little pests, minor menaces, bullying creatures, or do you believe kobolds might have some greater cause or society to back the presence of their hordes? *she briefly flashes Rannie a smile as the woman arrives*
Fiona Lightfellow: *beer in hand, already looking mildly bored*
Rannie Marrinson: *She absently eyes the assortment of food before nodding in her direction and shuffling off to get some of her own.*
Rorin DeepDelver: *coughs some* Nay 'ave any scientifical connection tah dragon's I seen other den deh langauge they speak. They nay do much other den terrorize common folk in me experinces.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm. Padrin dear, we've dicussed dragons in the past, as being warm blooded beasts. What about kobolds? Warm or cold blooded, do you suppose?
Padrin Wefnent: I would guess they are warm blooded creatures. I have not spent a great deal of time paying attention to see if they have any similiarities to cold blooded creatures however. So aye, warm blooded.
Elith Jr'ein: *smiles to the Rannie a moment as she rejoins*
Fiona Lightfellow: *She looks up as Rannie, approachs, offers a quick smile before shuffling to the side abit to make room*
Rannie Marrinson: *She sits after a short period, salad bowl in hand.*
Mirrir Tharasvin: And Rannie, as it may pertain to your interests, do you believe a kobold capable of love and care? Could they be tender parents, or do you suspect they are like many lizardkind, layers of eggs that they tend to only as much as necessary?
Rannie Marrinson: *She shrugs.* Probably only insofar as it helps their tribe along.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm. Fiona has previously mentioned that Kobolds are often clever trappers, but does anyone believe that kobolds have an interest in other industry?
Rorin DeepDelver: *raises his hand*
Fiona Lightfellow: *She glances over to Rannie and nods*
Mirrir Tharasvin: *her gaze sweeps across the collected folks, and she gestures mildly towards Rorin*
Rorin DeepDelver: Aye, deh be quite proficient at minin' too
Mirrir Tharasvin: Quite correct.
Padrin Wefnent: *nods slowly*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Now, most seem to be under the belief that kobolds are pathetic, weak things, hm? Scavangers, raiders, annoyances. Easily killed when they attack in mass, yes?
Padrin Wefnent: *sweeps a glance over to the others around*
Mirrir Tharasvin: *she glances around, lofting a brow*
Rorin DeepDelver: *shrugs a little*
Padrin Wefnent: Seems that way to most, aye.
Rannie Marrinson: *She rolls her eyes at something muttered, glancing over at Mirrir.*
Fiona Lightfellow: Nah, nah, that aint true. Some kob'lds are actually pretty fierce.
Eishur Greyshade: For the sake of argument, yes they are probably very pathetic and they hate themselves for not being able to get proper jobs.
Elith Jr'ein: I believe that aye. Well, aside fromt he jobs part.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhm. Now, a kobold, in truth, contrary to the sake of argument, hmh, is in fact a rather industrious, clever creature. Most do not raid or pester, for as the Master Samman mentions, they're rather keen miners.
Rannie Marrinson: *She folds her arms, tilting her head a bit and absently forking up some salad.*
Elith Jr'ein: They are annoying, and easily killed. Even is mass most people even midly skilled with a weapon can hold their own.
Fiona Lightfellow: Nah, ya' guys need ta' take the crap outta' yer' ears. I said they /can/ be pretty fierce. I saw a few the otha' day that quite a bit o' fight in them. They was still slaves and all that, but comparitively, they were fook'n terrors
Mirrir Tharasvin: Fiona unfortunately has discovered something the kobolds would prefer her not. The society of kobolds rather relies on the world at large believing they are weak things. Being underestimated is a kobolds best weapon.
Padrin Wefnent: *crosses his arms over his chest*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Kobolds have a saying that they tote as a fundamental practice. "We suffer and yet we prevail." This offers a keen insight into the mentality of creatures that, while living what might be considered lowly lives, are actually content, happy beings, within the realm of their own existence.
Kobolds utilize their industry not only as a means of fullfillment, but also care for their communities at large, which they defend zealously. They know they aren't strong, but with their intrinsic care and devotion, they believe in self sacrifice.
Padrin Wefnent: *lifts his eyebrows, looking surprised*
Rorin DeepDelver: *nods some and takes notes avidly*
Mirrir Tharasvin: You kill them easily, yet there's always more kobolds, so you might postulate to why. While fighters of the tribes engage, often knowing they cannot succeed, their aim is in truth to slow you down, so that those that cannot fight, or those that are important to the nest, can escape unharmed to continue on.
Fiona Lightfellow: *She glances over*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Because it is believed that they are vile little reptiles, or rodents, in some cases, few take the time or ever realize it, hmh. Now, this of course runs contrary to the previous mention. Kobolds do lay eggs, though the mothers themselves do not tend them, hmh. Kobold communities intigrate as a fundamental whole.
Padrin Wefnent: *rubs his chin, nodding slowly*
Celithiril E'Tylnian: *scratches his ear*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Eggs together are cared for by special tenders as they incubate, and the young are intigrated and enjoy their run of society. As a whole, the young are protected and given free reign until such a time as they mature enough to contribute to society.
Unlike many societies however, they lack aristocratic order. A kobold that is apt with traps will settle into helping make defenses. A kobold that is cunning may learn ways of trade with similar fellows. Most of course, become avid miners, hmh. Ultimately though, they do what suits them best, their people expect nothing more.
Elith Jr'ein: So the whole tribe helps raise the young?
Mirrir Tharasvin: Exactly.
Elith Jr'ein: Its like that with your people as well right Fiona?
Fiona Lightfellow: My people? You mean the folks in Sliva'moon?
Padrin Wefnent: *twists to look over his shoulder*
Elith Jr'ein: Thought you were from the north, anyways.
Fiona Lightfellow: My ancestory comes from the north, aye. My ol' man raised me on tales o' that *troll*.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmh. I understand that elven communities often enjoy fostering systems for their youths.
Elith Jr'ein: So they are not to different from some of us.
Rannie Marrinson: *Rannie leans back, watching the piano for a moment.*
Celithiril E'Tylnian: *folds his hands in his lap*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Kobolds in fact, have a rather complex society that in many ways reflects or own various societies at large, yes, hmh.
Elith Jr'ein: Interesting.
Mirrir Tharasvin: They are also incredibly spiritual creatures.
Rannie Marrinson: Not much respect for the dead, though.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmh, not particularly. In anycase, though Kobolds are in fact cold blooded creatures *she flashes Padrin an amused smile* they are intrinsicly connected to dragonkind.
Padrin Wefnent: *grins*
Fiona Lightfellow: *She takes a swallow from her beer*
Mirrir Tharasvin: That ancestry, ancient as it is, provides the kobolds with an intense spiritual focus that brings them together as a whole.
Rannie Marrinson: *Rannie takes an experimental sip at some alcoholic looking drink, herself.*
Padrin Wefnent: That explains why they gather around dragons so often.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm. Dragons have been quoted to say that you can buy many minions, but kobolds are without exception the most loyal and trustworthy servants they can have.
Padrin Wefnent: *nods slowly*
Celithiril E'Tylnian: probaby make for a delicious snack food for a wyrm as well.
Fiona Lightfellow: I dont think Id want ta' eat my loyal servants, man. I'd have them go get me somethin'
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhm. As it stands, this ancestry is respected and revered almost without exception amongst all kobold tribes, and every tribe will come together, entirely, every day, for a community wide ritual. Young and old participate in this, the miners, the crafters, even their leader.
They call this ritual 'Seeking the dragon'. Now, I haven't had the opportunity to witness it myself, but those that have report it to be an occasion spectacular. Imagine if you would, all the hordes of kobolds you may have fought, or not if you havent', hmh, sitting in silence.
Completely still. Amongst them you could walk and hear your heartbeat louder than the sound of their breath. They could, to the very last be statues.
Be a tribe fifty, or five hundred, this moment of meditation is so complete, you could count them all one by one.
Rannie Marrinson: *Her brow quirks as she sips a bit more.*
Padrin Wefnent: *his eyes widen briefly*
Mirrir Tharasvin: It isn't said to last long, a quarter or half of a bell at most, but it shows an undeniable, complete communal connection. They settle as one, and rise as one at its end. A discipline many temples could envy, hmh.
Eishur Greyshade: Imagine if people could be like that.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm. It's one of the more curious aspects of a kobolds daily life, certainly.
Elith Jr'ein: Are there any reports of a kind of Hive Mind?
Mirrir Tharasvin: No, not as such
Elith Jr'ein: Is this a learned thing then? Or instinct?
Mirrir Tharasvin: Instinct is my best understanding, as even the youngest of the tribe are noted to voluntairly submit to the ritual.
Elith Jr'ein: Interesting.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm. Their dedication to the whole goes beyond merely the care of their young being shared, and the casual manner in which they attend to the expectations of productivity.
Acamas Oribasus: *steps inside, each footfall heavy, a thick cloak of reptilian hide swishing behind him before he comes to a stop, sharp brown eyes peeking out from behind a thick mane of dark hair covering most of his face focusing on the stage*
Padrin Wefnent: *Nods* hm. Aye.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Kobolds by and large share their emotional burdens and interests freely, as well as their more baser desires. Permanently mated pairs are few, and to promote fertility females in fact, breed with many males, which may lend into why the young are shared amongst the community as well.
Acamas Oribasus: *the butt of the savage totem hits the ground with a dull thud, the hollow eyesockets of the bestial visage tipping the piece staring inanimately ahead, his gaze focuses exclusively on the woman on stage, a small grin cracking his otherwise harsh, savage demeanor*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Kobolds love -work-, the contribution to the whole, far more than the individual they curry favor with on any given night of passion. Likewise they spat and fight freely, but that zeal rarely holds once an outburst is over.
Rannie Marrinson: *She rubs her cheek, frowning.*
Acamas Oribasus: *he remains firmly in place, unmoving, apparently taking to listening to the ongoing lecture, his head tilting left, then right, as his gaze scrutinizes Mirrir up and down*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Though it is instanced that mated pairs can happen, hmh, so long as their tribal leader, called an 'all-watcher' app- *she pauses, stuttering briefly as she notes Acamas across the way. Blinking and looking awkward for a moment, she fluffs her wings and continues* Erm, So long as the all-watcher approves of the match.
Acamas Oribasus: *the grin, barely visible beneath the thick strands of unkempt hair, intensifies at the stutter*
Padrin Wefnent: *lifts a brow*
Elith Jr'ein: *raises a brow looking to his right curiously*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Rare it remains though, either way, hmh. Any questions thus far?
Elith Jr'ein: *shakes his head no*
Rorin DeepDelver: *Shakes his head silently, the tip of his hat flopping around as he does so*
Mirrir Tharasvin: *she glances around briefly, before refocusing on the newcomer out across the way, then glancing to her notes, almost as if for the moment she's somewhat lost her place*
Padrin Wefnent: No, thought it is all very interesting material.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Ah.. yes... Ah, the dead, you mentioned, Rannie dear.
Rannie Marrinson: Mhm.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Kobolds in fact, carry a rather particular belief about death, hmh.
Acamas Oribasus: *he remains silent and unmoving, merely staring*
Mirrir Tharasvin: In the Kobold faith, it is believed that each individual that dedicatedly serves its tribe, upon death, has his or her spirit born back into an egg.
Mirrir Tharasvin: And thus, will live again another full life of dedication to his or her people.
Bodies, to kobolds, are mere material resource that once uninhabited by spirit, is wasted.
Rannie Marrinson: Not much of an excuse for necromancy, but I guess that's one explanation.
Mirrir Tharasvin: They typically burn them, for contrary to popular belief, Kobolds dislike waste, hmh.
Elith Jr'ein: Explains the willful deaths.
Rorin DeepDelver: *nods at what Elith said*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Every kobold that finds itself in a position to sacrifice itself for the tribe fully believes that in that necessity, he will be reborn.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: glad to aid them to that end *nods*
Elith Jr'ein: *chortle*
Mirrir Tharasvin: If a tribe is wiped out, the expressed belief is that the souls will be carried by Steelscale to other tribes, hmh.
*she flashes Celithiril an amused smile, briefly glancing back again, expression tightening mildly before she continues*
Mm, beyond that, I wonder if any of you have had dealings with a kobold merchant in your times?
Elith Jr'ein: Gonna go with no.
Padrin Wefnent: Cannot say that I have. *shakes his head*
Rorin DeepDelver: *Shakes his head again*
Celithiril E'Tylnian: not I
Mirrir Tharasvin: hmhm. You might be surprised, as it isn't entirely unlikely that you have. Kobold merchants are masters of disguise, subterfuge and illusion. And they are more numerous than one might expect, hmh.
Eishur Greyshade: That would never work on me, I would see how their eyelids close sideways.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhmhm. Insular and self concerned as most kobolds are, the tribes will always have reason to have some interests beyond their own borders, and there are those within the tribe with enough of a sense of independance and curiosity to see such things through.
Being clever with various minor magics, traps, and of course, typically having a bounty of gems or precious metals due to their industrious nature as a whole, Kobold Merchants partake in carefully mingling with the outskirts of society, or occasionally dare to delve deeper into markets.
In doing so, they almost always take exceptional pride in hiding what they are, for as ever, a kobolds best weapon is being understimated, or unseen.
In this way, Kobolds interact with the outside world. They learn from dwarves where there might be new mining opportunities. They learn from humans when mercenary companies might threaten their tribes. They learn from whomever they can, whatever they can, to benefit their people.
Not to mention bringing back trinkets and resources that they on a whole struggle to produce within their mines.
Kolbolds that become merchants on behalf of a tribe often become leaders, all-watchers, as they are called, for new tribes, this way, hmh.
Rannie Marrinson: *She crosses her legs, tilting her head as she listens.*
Mirrir Tharasvin: As they come to understand the demand for supplies, and learn of new mine locations, if a Kobold community grows to large, they will ultimately enact a split, typically amicable if presented properly to the current all-watcher, to divine the tribe.
Padrin Wefnent: Huh... *nods his head slowly*
Mirrir Tharasvin: And that too remains a dedication to the whole, preventing hardship from over population, such as disease or hunger from becoming problematic.
So perhaps this illustrates for you all that a kobold, by and large, is far more than the simple little runt it appears to be, hm?
Padrin Wefnent: A much wider picture to reflect upon, for certain.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: something to consider yes. They are still however cowardly little bushwackers.
Fiona Lightfellow: Nah, nah, I dunno 'bout that.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Ah, can you call them cowardly when they so willingly sacrifice their lives to protect their fellows?
They're not suicidal, by any means, but if a kobold believes that he and his brothers must fight against impossible odds to save their young, they will do so without hesitation.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: I think so. The act is not selfless bravery if the intent is to be reborn.
Fiona Lightfellow: I mean, they dont fight ya' upfront like all the time. But what they do makes sense considerin' what they got comparied ta' what they usually fight. You cant blame them fer retreat and ambushin' tactics.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Being reborn still comes at the loss of ones life, experiences, and memory, hmh. Even if the spirit is renewed, the individual is lost in the ethers.
Eishur Greyshade: All can't be big brave warriors anyway even if they are cowards. I would probably also run if something twice my size came at me.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mind you, I'd rather be curious to know what a scholor on such matters would have to say, hmh, if such is even possible. It certainly confronts ones typical understanding of what happens when one dies.
Fiona Lightfellow: Bravery aint got nuttin' ta' do wit' rewards no how. Its 'bout bein' afraid and doin' what ya' need ta' do anyhow
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm, Fiona is quite correct, hmh.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find a brave Kobold. But they are cowards on the whole of it. Maybe a byproduct of their size and circumstance though. Not their choice even, more a survival mechanisn maybe.
Padrin Wefnent: *quietly follows the dicussion*
Mirrir Tharasvin: I'm not certain I'd agree, myself, hmh. I find their willingness to face their adversities rather quite couragous, hmh. But then, I haven't been known to be exceptionally self sacrificing myself.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: *grins*
Mirrir Tharasvin: *she flashes a mildly amused smile, briefly glancing back towards the lurking savage at the distant back, before refocusing*
Acamas Oribasus: *and still he remains still and silent away from the seated crowd, watching from afar, the hint of that same grin still lingering, if faded*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Beyond the more interesting overview, though, we come down to the basic facts of kobold existance.
Born from eggs, kobolds are considered adults, if young ones, typically by the time they reach the age of six.
Yet they are not shortlived as that might suggest. The eldest kobolds on record have been known to pass over a hundred and twenty years.
Fiona Lightfellow: *Drinks from her beer*
Padrin Wefnent: Impressive.
Mirrir Tharasvin: For matters of breeding, as a note of how it is that they maintain such avid populations, it is generally expected that for every ten adult kobolds, there will be one child. Have any of you encountered winged kobolds, I wonder?
Rorin DeepDelver: *nods*
Padrin Wefnent: Long ago.
Elith Jr'ein: *nods* They were more fierce.
Rannie Marrinson: Nope.
Eishur Greyshade: None but I have seen many winged humans.
Fiona Lightfellow: Yeah, the winged ones are mean
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhmhm. Winged kobolds of course, gain their traits through their ancestry, though unlike myself, they do not require rite or ritual to awaken that blood. Despite the eons and eons removed between them and whatever draconic ancestry they are gifted with... It remains that some kobolds are simply born infused with that power.
These are refered to as 'dragonwrought' by kobold kind, and they are marked effectily from sortly after being lain, as the egg takes on a mottling of color that will hint at the influence that is within.
Often born with greater power than the avarage kobold, dragonwrought are as one might expect, stronger in many ways, and often adept with sorcery, or even bardic magics, hmh.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: *glances backwards*
Eishur Greyshade: Do they sing too?
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhm, I've never heard one, but I expect some do. Kobolds however prefer instruments of percussion, and wind as well, pipes and the like.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: any chance that any of them favor goodly wyrm ancestery? Golds, Silvers, or the like?
Mirrir Tharasvin: I've not personally seen or heard of such, though I wouldn't rule it out entirely. It does seem unlikely, hmh.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: *nods*
Fiona Lightfellow: *Glances over and mutters something*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Music though, as Eishur brings up, is an important part of Kobold life, hmh. Their bards are highly respected, few and far between as they are, for the percussion rhtyms that lend an air of coheasiveness to mining operations and coordinated efforts of similar nature.
Rannie Marrinson: *She eyes Fiona briefly, then back to Mirrir.*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Their further interest in the arts hinges largely around their obsession with material goods. Kobolds love jewelry, adore trinkets, and have an intrinsic urge to horde, just as dragons do.
Eishur Greyshade: And nobles.
Padrin Wefnent: *snorts*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmh. In their ecology, work, at the mine or the craftstable, is far more important to kobolds on a whole than say, going to war and raiding.
As such there is little to say for Kobold armed forces, though from time to time it will happen.
As Fiona has mentioned, in these instances, a kobold force will always prefer stealth, ambushes, quick assults and trap tacitcs, as generally, even with great numbers, kobolds are outmatched.
Amusingly, perhaps, kobold enginuity does afford them the aptitude for making seigecraft, such as rolling ballistae that they favor the use of, hmh.
Fiona Lightfellow: Dung pits wit' spikes, aye, log traps, my favorite was a dead weasle unda' a heavy rock.
Elith Jr'ein: Hard to resist a dead weasle..
Fiona Lightfellow: Yeah, eh, classy
Mirrir Tharasvin: Kobolds consider traps an artform, in fact. And may of them take trapcrafting to obsessive levels, it's one thing they are rather personal about, hmhm.
A kobold takes joy in providing a better trap than the one before, and it can become quite the fierce competition.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: sounds like Mouse
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm. It's something they often work their magics towards as well, combining both their mechanical knowledge and spellcraft to create more intricate, better hidden, and dangerous traps thereby, hmh.
Acamas Oribasus: *his gaze averts at the sound of nearby footsteps, sharp brown eyes following Styr for a moment*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Questions perhaps, then?
Acamas Oribasus: *the monstrous clawed hand bulging out from the armored, clawed bracer, twitches briefly before settling, and his attention returns to the woman on stage*
Styr Jarlshall: *Glances around as he goes to stand near the others*
Rorin DeepDelver: *Shakes his head again*
Padrin Wefnent: I have a question.
Mirrir Tharasvin: mm?
Padrin Wefnent: So if they are natural spellcasters like sorcerers and such, I take it they do not take to the magical arts like our wizards do?
Mirrir Tharasvin: Kobolds rarely invest in wizardry, it doesn't suit the productivity and work ethic of their species as a whole, but there are the occasional exception. There are more often than one might expect, those cunning enough to master such arts, if the resources for them to do so are available.
Padrin Wefnent: *nods once*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Most oft though, a Kobold is too driven to participate in tribal efforts over personal advancements that are usually fundamental to wizardry, hmh.
Padrin Wefnent: I see. *nods slowly*
Styr Jarlshall: Ja! I was fighting them earlier...Some had arcane powers *nods slowly a few times*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhm. All in all, though insular as a people, and quite happy to hide away often forgotten in caves and quiet places, Kobolds are as you may now realize, far more complex than is often assumed, and certainly far more clever.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: Do any of them follow the Druid's path?
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm, I expect some do, certainly, though again it is likely uncommon.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: *grins and glances at Padrin*
Elith Jr'ein: Padrins a kobold.
Rannie Marrinson: *She drinks the last bit of her wine bottle, glancing at it ruefully.*
Padrin Wefnent: *grins and shakes his head, rolling his eyes*
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhm. I think Padrins far to clumsy to make it as a kobold. And no appreciation for shiny things, hmhm
Padrin Wefnent: Quite likely. And that as well.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: It's the sideburns that make you think that Elith.
Elith Jr'ein: Ahah. Knew it was something.
Padrin Wefnent: I would likely be a caregiver for the eggs.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhm. That, by and large, should conclude the topic then, aside from a handful of esoteric details, hmh.
Padrin Wefnent: Very enlightening Mirrir. Thank you.
Rorin DeepDelver: *nods some*
Fiona Lightfellow: *Mutters something to the woman next to her, then nods before consuming the remander of the beer*
Eishur Greyshade: I didnt expect the subject to be such a success to be honest.
Mirrir Tharasvin: mm. Ah, as well, Kobolds are by and large, quite common in Cormyr. You'll find them here in the south, and as far east as the hullack. And on many of the islands in the dragonmere that dot our costline, hmh.
Styr Jarlshall: Not for long....*blue eyes narrow a bit*
Rannie Marrinson: *She rises as well, stretching.
Celithiril E'Tylnian: well done, very informative
Fiona Lightfellow: *She quietly stands up, and carefully schoots out* I gotta piss off fer' a bit, Mirrir. Good job though
Mirrir Tharasvin: Hmhm. Take care, Fiona dear
Eishur Greyshade: I might walk into an inn someday and see a dragonwrought give a lecture about humans.
Mirrir Tharasvin: Mm, that would be delightful, hmh. I'm currently involved in fact, in diplomatic endevors with a tribe myself, hmh. Perhaps if I can convince one of them to come forth, we could make that a reality. Though they speak draconic, I'm afraid, hmh.
// Couldn't use screenshots due to the number of tells and a bunch of other ooc interruptions, but I thought we could save the RP at least Hope everyone had fun though, and thanks to those that came!
