Tal would look down, deeply contemplating his actions... worried that perhaps what he does is not in the right. Then again, it was never easy to question things that were close to one's heart. Law... Order... they brought with them peace at times, but peace easily gives way to abuse and corruption. He had to believe he was doing the right thing.
With a prayer he placed a notice on the door of the Temple of Defenders... something that was not often done since the days of the Time of Troubles when few Tormtar called into question the actions of Lord Tenwealth. They... disappeared. Tal thought to himself. No, no the times are different. Have trust in your fellows and in your church, as well as its allies.. We have all passed through the flames of trial, and come out reborn in the True's light.
Tal would repeat these actions, as he found them difficult, when he journeyed to Torm's Temples in Castle Crag and Eagle's Peak. He would give a Triadic squire a carefully made copy to deliver to the Keep by Eveningstar. Later on he would hand deliver a scroll to Helm's temple in the King's Forest.

Passing the temple of Defenders, a red-headed woman in a dark blue dress of excellent tailoring stops dead in her tracks as she notices the note tacked to the door. She walks up the stairs to take a look and carefully reads the long proclamation. It is apparent that her reaction turns from surprise to mystification as she reads and eyebrows are raised one after the other and she arrives at the note's end blinking.
A somewhat dry chuckle escapes her, "That's kinda ... um ... wow ..."
"Ah, good day, Tarithel," a man addresses her from the bottom of the stairs and continues with a grin, "Didn't see you as one of the Triadics."
The woman turns with a smile, "Hello, Vennis ... and a good day to you, too." And after a small pause, "I appreciate justice, you know? 'Sides I got a few friends who frequent this temple." She points vaguely at the building, "It's just ... umm"
"News?"
The red-head gestures in the direction of the parchment, "That thing strikes me as odd ... um ... but take a look for yourself. Before Bers takes it down, which can only be a matter of time." She smiles a little, wry smile and steps to the side to fold her hands, fingers interleaved, and wait patiently while the man steps up the stairs to read the note. After a bit, she turns to look out from below the overhanging roof while listening to the sound of the rain drumming on it.
When the man has finished reading, a short debate ensues about whether or not the writer was advocating vigilantism, about whether it would be obvious to an order that operates in many countries with many different laws that justice and law, in fact, were _not_ the same, whether the mention of Redmist was maybe hinting at separatist tendencies. The two walk off towards the Laughing Lass, but the woman returns, later, to copy the text over to an old notebook with a dragon and a harp on it that she produces from her grey leather bag, and mumbles something about somebody called Joric.

The temple operated by the Triadic Order of the Divine Resurrection does not bear the note on the door or any other public area for that matter.

//its a mind twister for sure, something to wrap one's ic head around. oocly though its not a call for vigilantism but rather reform ill leave it you your character's stats to work with it, enjoy . things are cut and dry when the enemy is obvious, its never easy when it comes to something like policies. EDIT: I adjusted the wording so it might be less confusing.

// Where is the text of this note? All I see is a description of a note being posted and some people saying they read it.

All good. // After reading the other post, though I wasn't sure if Tari was just imagining seeing the note // No idea about the subtleties of which order operates what temple. I read temple of Defenders and thought "Suzail". Was I wrong? // And oopsie, yes, you lost the attachment

//On my end, I was just emphasizing that the note is not publicly hung nor endorsed (at this time) by the Triadic Order Guild since there was mention of the post being given to a Triadic Order squire for delivery.

While stopping at the Temple of the Defenders, Kyra notices the note. After reading through, she continues on her way, her brow furrows a touch with a faint spark of anger in her eye.

Sitting within the temple barracks at the Temple of the Defenders, Tal pens responses at the lone desk by candlelight... sorting through the modest stack of missives marked for him.

A lithe figure stands within the shadow of the Temple of the Defenders. She firstly skims through the note and taps her finger below the signature. She then refocuses and begins to read through the notice once more, twitching and frowning at several points.
She reaches her hand beneath her leather jerkin and touches at the scar left across her side. What feels like a cold breath tickles the hairs on the back of her neck as her gaze rises up to meet the looming, sinister symbol of Torms hand. Her gaze begins to transform into a glare wrought with hatred. She backs away from the temple and departs the district with haste.
