Large fancy posters appear throughout Cormyr, but most of all in Arabel:
// The date for the actual talent show is yet to be decided, but probably an early weekend in February. First, we'll need some talents!

Fenix wanders up to the signs and glances around before finally reading them.
"My belly dancing routine can finally shine...the world is ready...."
He clenched his fist in front of him with a hopeful gaze, before removing the new notice and tucking it into his bag.

*Katessa stops at the sign and reads it over, a playful smile coming over her features as she taps her lower lip with a finger.*
"Oh, this is going to be fun!" she says.

*Shard Shadowsilver has been noted to be performing more tunes of late in Greatgaunt, and spends a lot of time strumming on his yarting outside the Suzail Gates* // Count me in

// Bump. Valera puts up more fancy posters, slightly updated with a vague note on prizes. // RL just haven't been agreeing with my FRC plans lately, but this is still going to happen! We are currently aiming for the weekend of 22-23 of February. If you are still interested in participating, let me or lucesi know as soon as possible, through PMs if we can't be found in-game. We'd like to know who is participating beforehand, so we can know how long the show will be and can plan it better. Talent acts should preferably not be longer than 10 minutes. We could use more blind-folded knife-throwers, halfling pyramid-balance stunts and oiled half-orc belly-dancers!

A Dwarf clad in silvered war-plate and with a majestic brown beard braided into a thick mithril ring adorned with Dwarvish symbols walks over to read the sign, occasionally nodding to someone or other if he is recognized. "Ach right, th'Talent Show. If only I could convince th'rest've the Hammers t'form a song-throng. We'd blow all others away!" He appears to be saying this aloud to any passerby.

Rumours spread throughout Cormyr that the RCMH and the Triadic Order of the Divine Resurrection are both going to compete in the Arabel Talent Show... Apparently, the RCMH is going to perform a ballet; "The Purple Swan", while the Triadic Order will do a daring balance act; an "oiled paladin pyramid", whatever that is. Some say these rumours may have first originated at the Arabel Ale House, others mention the Greatgaunt Square...
Valera claims she doesn't have the slightest idea who may have started such a rumour, and that she won't comment on who will be participating until the show starts. She doesn't want to spoil the show.

((Was this changed to being two hours early? The timer is set for 18:00 GMT, not 20:00 GMT. I don't think I can make it two hours early, but I had a much better chance of making the original time. Hope you guys enjoy!)) Edit: My bad. Misread the time difference- I still couldn't make it.

Early in the morning, thunderous applauds are heard from central Arabel. The Arabel Talent Show is over, and hostess Valera Serena has declared the audience's choice of a winner. Word soon spreads throughout the city of the results of this game of talents... On third place came the violinist Keileahna Moonsong who according to show host Vennis Haler "manipulated the hearts and emotions of the audience as surely as she manipulated her violin strings". No eye was left dry; her enchanting tunes will not soon be forgotten. On second place came Katessa Fensbain with a "dramatic Tour de Force", a semi-improvised theatre play about love and death, performed together with a volunteer from the audience, one who later happened to win first prize. Their performances will surely be remembered with a smile. On first place came Osecian Chant with a "tragic story of star-crossed lovers, yet one with a redeeming moral". An epic story, long to be remembered, perhaps one that will be played in theatres throughout all of Cormyr, maybe even all of Faerûn! As the sun rises over Arabel, people walk home, chitchatting and gossiping of the spectacular show, the witty and talented host, the hostess with the swaying hips and rousing speech, the winners and those... other contestants who didn't quite make it... a pretty Bardess of Lliira who started the show with a joyous song, a mug of ale passed around and a dance with the hostess. And then there was that fair-faced halfling who gave the audience a fright with the beginnings of the Doom Song, but then told a story of dragon slaying, a brave pixie and homespun wisdom... who were they?* Their performances were both excellent, but surely their names have not been forgotten so soon? The performances of the RCMH and the Triadic Order were sorely missed, perhaps it was just a rumour after all... but what terrific acts it could have been! However, new rumours soon spread from the Arabel Ale House, something about a new performance? Is it true that they will perform together? The RCMH and the Triadic Order? An Oiled Purple Paladin Swan Pyramid-Balett? What is that anyway? Certainly, it's not a performance to be missed! *Evette Callis and Lan aka Selladee 'Ghost' Tallgrass// Please excuse the mild god-modding. Edit if necessary. Thanks to the contestants and the audience, and my co-conspirator Lucesi! Great roleplay and performances all around! Everyone gave something interesting and different to the show! Thanks to Extropy for setting the stage and (eventually) making some prize items! And thanks to Hawk for fixing those last details and NPC spectators! It was a great talent show! Unfortunate that some couldn't be there. Perhaps we'll do another show some time in the future. Thanks for the fun and good night!

//Sorry I missed this, RL reared its ugly head. I hope some people took screenshots:) I was going to take more screenshots... but then I forgot. I did get some: Vennis keeps the audience entertained while waiting for people to arrive... After Vennis has kept the audience entertained, Valera opens the show with an inspiring speech... Katessa tells a brutal story of a cheating wife, a murderous husband, a spider and a large arsenal of weapons (what was the rope for?). It can only end in death. Keileahna enchants the audience by conjuring an Ocean Storm with her violin. And then I forgot to take screenshots. I hope someone else can fill in with some pictures from the other contestants.
