After the speeches and food, the left overs from the feast are carted through the slums of Valkur's Roar and handed off to various families.
//Hoping the speech makers will post their speeches here. Thanks to everyone for coming on such a short notice.//
Vel's Speech:
Greetings men, women of Valkur's Roar. Today, I speak to you on behalf of the Church of Torm the True, the Loyal Fury. The Tormish church is one of servitude, loyalty, righteousness, duty and truth.
This day, the Triadic Order of the Divine Resurrection holds one of the three special sacraments that the faithful must take on, Torm's Table. The purpose of the sacrament is to serve those less fortunate that we and to bring upon us humility, that our heads never reach far above.
As we serve you this day, you too, serve your realm. You serve your city, and you serve the Crown. But service should not be done blindly. If it were, you would cease to be functioning members of society and instead be turned slaves by your own making. You must make the best of life not just for yourselves but for all those around you.
A wise man once said "He who accepts evil without protesting it is really cooperating with it." This goes hand in hand with the teachings of Torm. The Church and the Orders beneath its banner look into governments and organizations with moral obligations to the masses. They seek corruption within and ferret it out. They operate on the cancer before it spreads.
In these trying times, a agent of the Willing Whip seeks to maneuver her way into public seat here in your city, in our kingdom. There isn't room for hesitation. You are all in a position to make known your opinions on the matter.
As men and women with a free will, we are accountable for our actions. We are held accountable if we sit by the wayside as evil's influence spreads. Look deep in your heart and find the courage to stand against it, with Torm's unyielding fervor. Follow His example as He stood firmly against the Lord of Strife. Torm too was once mortal like we are, without conspiring or seeking power, he was elevated to godhood, to serve as Tyr's strong-arm in the everlasting struggle for justice and goodness.
Thank you all. And may your path bring justice, mercy and truth.

A pair of Dwarves attend the event, one clad in silvery armor and grey fur cloak, the other in green and black. They watch the speeches and mostly keep to themselves but if asked about their presence will confirm that they are members of Oghrann's Hammers and may introduce themselves. The one in silver armor will further explain that he came to support allies of the Clan and to witness the sorts of things he'd like to see more of in that city.

Trence's Speach :
*Trence moved to the the center of the circle, having only briefly thought about what he was going to say. His heart was pounding but he did his best to conceal his nervousness as he began to speak*
“Well. Many of you are not familiar with me. I am Trence Fyne. I hail from the northern dalelands and I serve Tyr as best I can.
I'm speaking because I've seen and heard things that are a bit disturbing. many of the people in these lands are suffering greatly, whether it be attacks from those wishing to impose their ways, or simply because they disagree with what people are saying.
Now, I've heard that there is someone who wants to become head of the spiritual center of this city, and while I cannot speak as to her intentions, and I've never met her, one thing I know for certain is that she wishes for others to embrace pain for pain's sake.
I'm sure most of us here are no strangers to pain. Many of us endure it on a daily basis in the pursuit of our goals and defending others. I even had an instructor who's favorite line was "Pain is weakness leaving the body”
Pain can be useful. It can teach us. It can tell us when something is wrong, but pain for the sake of pain serves no purpose. Most, if not all of us, here endure pain not because we seek it, but because through our pain we shield others from pain.
I have no problem with pain, especially if it is a result of my oaths, or simply aiding others, but I feel that there is enough pain and suffering as it is, both in this city and in Cormyr as a whole. It is not something we need more of. “

Kiki's Speech
*Holds her head held up high, speaking loudly, passionately, and clearly* Good evening, everyone. As many of you may already know, I am Melinda Heartfire, Priestess of Sune Firehair. I would first and foremost like to thank the Triadic Order of Divine Resurrection for organizing this gathering and to them and any others who many have donated the meals we have here tonight for the people of the slums. The effort and support given here today will be appreciated greatly by many of the less fortunate families. I find moments such as tonight to be an inspiration among the efforts to better the world in which we share. There is only so much that we can each accomplish alone, but when we can each come together in unity we can move mountains in a shorter span of time. The passion in life, which Sune grants each fuels our motivation and drives us to be able to accomplish unimaginable possibilities. Faith is being one of those motivators fueled by a burning passion kindled within our hearts by the Goddess of Passion herself. When it comes to the efforts of one to make a difference in the world, effort can be revolutionary. So just imagine what many coming together can accomplish. We must each look within and listen to our hearts. To have the courage to speak out against that which is wrong and strive to better the conditions in which we all live. For if we all simply look to better our own lot in life, then we are no better than the savage animals fighting for our own survival, when we could be taking care o one another for the survival of the communities we live in as a whole. We each have a responsibility and a part to play in the improvement of the world and those around us, and it is through love and through passion that we are moved to making a positive influence in the world we share. Striving to make the world a better and thus more beautiful place to live. *Smiles* And that is all I had to share, thank you.
