Out of thin air what appears to be a porkchop lathered in reddish sauce flops onto the ground, settling among the leaves and bracken.

Sniffs at the porkchop lathered in reddish sauce, circling it like wild prey. Snarling at the porkchop before she bites into it, picking it up she carrys it a few feet, before dropping it near her bed. Turning to sniff the air again.

A cairn is located somewhere in the Kings Forest, marked by a single flaming white stone at its top - continually burning. The cairn is under a tree and made of smooth, beautiful river rocks. The grave shows signs of being recently contructed, with care.

Amidst the cairn's centre, a body is laid to rest within. The corpse seems to have begun to decay slightly, with varied wounds baring themselves openly, though the remainder of the wounds were cleaned off. The body is clad modestly, donning only a deep brown burial robe with no other markings or symbols upon it. His arms are tattooed with varied druidic symbols, and creatures of varied type in a tribalistic manner. The arms rest across his chest, his head positioned straight with his eyes shut and jaw closed. He rests amidst the river stones, silently slumbering as the calm of the forest overtakes him.

A white haired girl stays close to the cairn keeping watch. Only leaving it long enough to gather food and water. If watched closely she would be seen praying several times a day, or picking the fallen leaves off the cairn. As the sun rises she would change forms walking over to the water she would put her paw on it's surface then step in the dirt by the cairn. Carefuly she would place her muddy paw on a new stone as if marking his days of rest. New flowers would be picked each morning and the wilted ones removed. The night air would be filled with several wolves morning the loss, there howls last for a few hours before the forest falls silant.

A figure in a green cloak and hood watches the white wolf from the edge of the clearing for a long while.

Cassily watches the figure in the Green cloak. She makes no effort to move.
As her eyes catch the flickers of purple she Whimpers softly.

Murmured words of comfort could be heard by the wolf from seemingly the air, though if she looked close enough she would see the flickering image of a man in purple, concealed by a spell.

Cassily would look up, and belly crawl closer to the man looking back at the resting place. Her Whimpers soft, as she lays her head on her paws.

The green-cloaked figure watches the wolf for a time. If one could see her eyes, their look would be one of sadness. She crouches down and leaves a child's doll on the ground, gives a short howl, then backs away a little bit.

Cassily would raise her head when the figure howls. She watches her back away, her eyes going to the childs doll, and howls. Slowly backing up to the mound of rocks unsure what to do. The wolf lays on a bed of leaves, Watching the doll.

The green figure transforms into a grey and white wolf and lies down about ten feet from the doll, head on her paws, whimpering softly, watching.

Technically invisible, one would not be able to see the man unless they were very close or had eyes sharper than most, he disappears into nothingness again, seemingly leaving.

Through the course of the nights, visitors come and go to the cairn, careful not to disturb the sleeping wolfess nearby to it. A purple glimmer appears periodically, a woman dressed in greens, and a woman with glistening red wings make their appearances at various times. The man dusts off the grave, before leaving without a word. The winged woman approaches, kneeling in tears for a long while. A song escapes her lips, as the woman in greens approaches. They converse for a time, before the woman in greens makes her leave. The winged woman remains, watching over and tidying the cairn. She places a flawless blue spinel amidst the stones, enough to be seen. She kisses the man's lips, then leaves with a small smile on her face.
As the rains come, they begin to soak the burial robes the man is clad in. Some of the water serves to degrade some of the more delicate portions of flesh, those that were scorched severely enough to damage the structure beneath. It corrodes the flesh bit by bit, while somewhat moistening the otherwise dead corpse. The robes get drenched, only lightly protected by the canopy of the treetop. After the rainfall stops, the robes cling to the man's shape. The appearance of his body as it were becomes more clear, showing that he had become rather scrawny over time, perhaps due to malnutrition. Muscularly, he seemed alright, though varied scars and stitchings are splayed across his form, some even seeming to be or have been infected. Over the course of the day, the tree leaves fall upon him, dusting up the grave once more.

As the rain stops Cassily would busy herself cleaning each stone until they all shine again. Once she's finished she would again replace the paw prints marking his days of rest. Never venturing far away from the resting man, always keeping his cairn in sight.
Her eternal vigilance over the cairn never changes.

The wolf picks up the doll in her jaws and pads over toward the white wolf. She drops it on the ground several feet from her and nudges it with her nose. She then looks up at her with a sad and defeated look, turns, and disappears into the trees.

The white wolf picks up the doll in her jaws, carring it back to her bed. Laying it down she circles around it. Laying next to it her eyes keeping watch at the treeline.

A female figure approaches quietly from the opposite side of the cairn, keeping a respectful distance from the resting white wolf, and places a note among the stones. She walks away several steps before transforming into a hawk and soaring up to a tree on the edge of the clearing, perching. The note on the cairn says simply:
Grieve for as long as you need, and I will watch over you as you do, but one day you will be faced with a choice. You can either start living your life again, or continue living his death. If he ever really loved you, I think you know what he would want.

She would watch for the man in purple to return again. The letter tucked away with the doll.

Eventually a murmur could be heard, and a flash of purple seen before disappearing once more. Cassily could likely smell the invisible person next to her, watching the carin with narrowed eyes.

She takes her human form, and holds the note out.
"Wolves no read. You make wake up? "
She looks back at the rocks.

A hawk in the trees watches Cassily holding the note out and speaking to seemingly no one, putting it on alert. It flaps its wings once and caws, but remains on its branch.

He would take the note, the item disappearing once it entered the invisible ones hand. After a moment a snort could be heard, and the words spoken quietly so only Cassily could hear them: "Pointless. Waste of paper. Worry not."

The Hawk, its eyes sharp, seeing Cassily hand the note into empty space where it disappears, swoops down and lands in front of Cassily and her invisible companion. It transforms into the figure of Cat'lyn, her expression hard and her eyes cold.
"Here is what my note said, Cassily," she says, staring at where the man must be. "Grieve for as long as you need, and I will watch over you as you do, but one day you will be faced with a choice. You can either start living your life again, or continue living his death. If he ever really loved you, I think you know what he would want."
She turns to look at Cassily again. "Now why don't you introduce me to your friend, who feels the need to conceal himself and to steal others' notes."

Blinks as she looks up.
"Cat'lyn"
She stops and listens to what the note said.

"And did he read it to you, or just tuck it away?" Cat'lyn says skeptically. "And who is 'he'?"
She pulls Cassily aside and whispers quietly to her.
