Within the heart of the Hullack,
Monsters lurk, spirits gather, even Drow occasionally wander. Amongst all these terrible and horrid dangers, a staunch few elves linger in Cormyr. These Elves are often called "Wardens" to most.
The common folk of Thunderstone; when asked, usually nod and say there is elves out there. The loggers will often complain they feel watched, as do those few travelers that dare the woods.
The Tales are conflicting, varied, But what can be commonly known is that the elves have guided the lost, defended the few that needed defending. However, they have threatened many with the common phrases, the law of the forest.
"Harm no creature other then food and defending oneself, respect the forest-home"
"Mind any destructive magic within the forest"
"Use fire only to cook"
"those that bring undead will meet swift end"
Other then that these half silent, half non-existant travelers are rarely seen. "wardens" "warders" "hullack elves" are often spoken, to some a curse to others allies. The elven peoples that seem to find home in the hullack, the realms most dangersous forest, are remnants of a long age old history. In some places within the land their mark can still be seen on old stone "Keyanna de cormyr" - we who guard the forest land.
To the crown, well who knows.. but history has had the elves return rarely in time, to aid the land.. but for now these half silent eyes and ready trained bows, peer motionless to those that travel the hullack.
