He should respawn after 10 minutes or so... if he doesn't, please let me know.
Either way, yeah, it's not a good idea to kill merchants.

Well... there are like 5 other merchants in Isinhold... They all buy back at the same price.

actually they don't. juster will pay 75 gp for a scroll with a 2nd level spell on it (+/- some accodiging to the appraise roll). i tried offering the same scroll to merriss, kale, the woman in the antiques store, all the merchants in isinhold, and i never got the same price even if the appraise roll yielded a more favorable reaction...
it's just become a fact of life on FRC, juster will for some reason always offer better prices. i thought you knew this and that it was intentional.
anyhow we're getting off-topic.

I should have figured that out a while ago. Sometimes Isinhold is the last place I look for issues, but I did see that many people simply go to the bowyer before any other merchant. I figured it was because ammo was always needed, but it seems there was another reason. Anyway, he will be buying back at normal pricing for all other merchants soon, but I also want to mention I will throw some variety into the economy to compensate.

Dang. That means Kam has to go on another pricing tour. Actually I have noticed there are only a few that give out really good or really bad prices.

anyhow ... how come several merchants walk around now? afterwards i was just in the fletchers and saw juster walking into a door over and over. before that, i saw bron trying to jump into the redmist river. have the merchants gone suicidal, or is this some side effect from merchant murder?! dun dun dun.

Oh by the way. His arrows are more expensive than any others. 3 coins compared 1 at Garrotts Yes, this one I realize because there is a funny thing about Ranged Weapons in NWN: especially in the tookit . In the toolkit, the base gp value of bows, etc. is usually x3 less when they are magical in nature, or in any way carry properties similar to a correspondent melee weapon. So, I had to make boywer merchants separate from every other merchant... until one day it dawned on me *dun-don----DON* that I could just raise their value three times to compensate. Since different merchants can be set to sell at any percentage of the base cost of the item, and they buy on a similar separate matrix, arrows sell for more from where they should be wholesaled!!! And, earlier designed areas have a separate bowyer or ranged weapon seller. I know, it's confusing, cause it is, but it is hard coded and I can't seem to make the ranged weapon and missile (arrows, bolts, stones) economy perfect so far. GA! ;D There is another layer here that if I told you would drive you insane in a heart beat and probably get me committed for sure! Let me just say, I thought much about how to handle ranged weapon and missle pricing in the game... and their corresponding ammunition when sold in the same shop. Managing the overall economy of FRC has been tricky to say the least.

so juster will be buying gear at cheap prices now? gee... this'll be a cut in the wallet for sure. everyone's been relying on him to bring in the cash since day one. anyhow, i guess we'll adjust.

His arrows are better. Have you seen those arrows the other guy sells? I've seen boomerangs that had less curve to them.

hmmm...I'm betting for some reason they might have the OnSpawn script AI behavior...or it is quite possible, now that they spawn, if they do not have thier own single Waypoint to keep them put..they will wander..more likly wander into trouble.

This was my call too, and it turned out they didn't have waypoints. If they are still wandering, then this was a bad call... if they have stopped, then we are set. I haven't had a chance to be in game since Friday, so I will have to see. Cheers!
