So this isn't a screenshot, but I wasn't sure where else to put artwork. Here's a quickie sketch done in charcoal, during my pnp session tonight, so there's not a lot of detail here. Feedback and commentary are always welcome. Rimieh and Oenemi (charcoal, October 2010)

Wow, that's a quick sketch?! My quick sketches look more like stick figures. Oh, and pretty much all of my drawings are quick sketches. ;D

I think I did that in about two hours, so I consider it a "quick" sketch... which it is, in comparison to some of my other artwork (e.g. I have a painting that's taken me over 9 hours and I'm still working on it!). Here's a sample of something that I don't consider quick, although I did it years ago for one of my first nwn pcs on an old server from long, long ago... For those who remember EoE, I played the infamous Myrra Sulisen, ale-chugging paladin-knight of Al-Masar. Woooo, memories! (Yes, that is a chibi. Yes, I take requests. No, it's not a guarantee.)

You have time to do stuff like that during pnp!? BLASPHEMY!
That's a cool drawing though...I wish I was an artist, my players always love the stick figures I make on our game mat.

Here's another sketch I just did tonight, of my Sehanine priestess, Aerasume (not played on FRC). She's a moondancer, performing a veil dance under the watchful night sky... Aerasume Everae (charcoal, 2010)

Hey, that's really cool. At first I was like, "What's with the orb and the swoosh?" And then as I continued to look, it all emerged.

Actually, I'm thinking of doing a fantasy series for a local (amateur) artist exhibit in the spring, in charcoals. Suggestions for scenes for me to depict would be quite welcome. Please don't feel offended if I don't do a depiction of your PC. I like doing scenes and portraits, but I need to have a feel for the subject.
PM me or post here with ideas. Thanks! (Also, thanks for the compliments.)

How hard would it be to represent someone in the rain?

Depends on the level of detail you want on the person and what he or she is doing... with rain obviously coming down. Did you have a scene in mind?

If it's a fantasy series, I recommend doing at least one monster scene and one with magic use of some kind in it. It might be nice to see a portrait of a knight, the epidome of fantasy, also. Maybe do a fae scene as well. You could do a portrait series with all the main races represented, maybe even putting them in roles as commoners rather than adventurers.

I love charcoal drawings, it's always interesting to look at because of the medium and very difficult to use. Very nice Lakhena.

Thread necromancy! I thought I would post this here, since I just finished a big dance performance this weekend. I'll have more free time until September, when my classical Khmer dance starts up again, but here you go. I'm in this picture somewhere

Also, since it's been a while, here are links to my art: Deviant Art (some NWN-inspired art, charcoals, and oil paintings) lakhena.deviantart.comMy Art Tumblr (do people use Tumblr still? Guild Wars 2 inspired art, acrylic and oil paintings) The Creative MuseRP with me enough, and I may eventually do some art of your PC.

Gorgeous stuff.
I have 0 to -7 in artistics so this is especially impressive. Love that there is so much non-nwn talent here, too.

I love your deviant art paintings, is that acrylic? Only the skull and flowers are done in acrylic. All the other paintings are done in oil. I prefer oil to acrylic, so I'll be making more oil paintings this summer, most likely. They take a while!
