Ahhh... this got me thinking... That was one of the first custom items I added to the module. That item was made predating the current module concept. Back when when the module was just a city, a forest and a cave.

Mmmm.... Tilapia... Some nice beer-battered, lightly fried tilapia with coleslaw and some loaded cheese fries... Or a nice Black Jack mahi-mahi.... Or even some cajun grilled mako shark or sweet bourbon glazed salmon.... Oh, sorry.... I'm eating some of the Black Jack mahi I got from work (I work in a restraunt and we have fresh fish specials every day) so my mind is on food right now...

I thought the topic was fish and whether or not they exist in David's world... Or maybe it was just trading fish recipies... Anyone got any good Fish Tails?

And whenever you ate them you got 3 or 4 HP. What do you think? I can already seen "flocks" of warriors having picnics in the woods, for a little snack between battles.. ;D

The only fish I can think of that is pure Faerunian is ….Knucklehead Trout.
Knucklehead Trout
A very large bulbous head trout, with firm meaty white flesh found only in the lakes of Ten Towns of Icewind Dale in the far reaches of The Spine of the World. The Knucklehead Trout is treasured by the people of Ten Towns and is known as “White Gold” for its skull being made of ivory. The local artisans covet this fish and make great strives to obtain the skulls which they carve into statues and create masterpieces of etched scrimshaw for the southern markets.
*Note this is only sourced by name and use of the skull “Crystal Shard” page 16-18

From: www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rl/20040922aThe majority of port-dwelling Nimbrese are fisherfolk ("wavefarers" in local parlance); they put forth in small boats to net fish or to raise and lower crab-pots and oyster-scoops. The waters around Nimbral hold abundant sea-slake (the hand-length, tasty, strong-smelling brown fish sometimes called "smelt" in Sword Coast lands) and silvereye (a large blue-and-silver sharp-nosed fish with flesh so salty that it keeps for days without needing smoking or salting) year-round. In the warmest months they also yield hansrae (a fat many-finned fish that tastes like beef and has a body the shape and size of the head of an axe) and in the winter chill can produce a few highly flavored shull or "basking turtle," the flavorful, slow, soft-shelled sea-turtle that can grow as large as some small open boats and is best brought in with harthingys and several boats working together.

I completely made up Starwater trout today, and ate it twice, once in an Inn, the other time I RP'd fishing and making terrible stew. It's quite tasty when prepared half way decent. I just saw this topic today and thought it was funny that I caught a fish outta Eveningstar and you guys want to know about it. ;D
