she stood up, her back popping it's entire length. She felt older suddenly then ever she did before.....many things had been plagueing her mind as of late, and she was about at her limit's end. Lili turns to look at her future husband lyign on the bed, snoring loudly as usual, but she felt she would get used to it in time.....that was one of the many things on her mind as if late. She sighs and glances back to the stack of parchments that lay on the table she had requested be brought in to their room at the redmist inn, "I suppose I have to get these off at some point," she again looks at cormac as he chuckles in his sleep and rolls over. She smiled at the sight and silently thanked Sune for her good fortune at finding Cormac......this man who had avowed to her on her engagement ring. She slipped off the ring to read teh inscription on the inside of hte band where he had paid for an slight alteration, "Your Shield Always," it said and she smile knowing that her love had proven that true time and time again. She sighed once again slipping the ring on her finger and looked around the room, she knew it very wella sthis had been hers and cormac's home for several......she stopped to think a moment, "how long has it been....days...weeksmonths, now?, " she asked the air.
The double wide bed sat in it's usual spot, in teh middle of the room. She suddenly got to wondering how they had managed to get the table in there, and her mind quickly wandered the memory of cor and talbot wrestling it in and getting it situated with the chair so near the bed she could reach out and tickle cormacs feet as he lay there mumbling in his sleep. She also remembered how tal, who had been nothing but polite and decent to them, had gone aobut swearing so bad only a sailor could appreciate it. Cormac quickly joined him in that past time as lili stood out of the way giggling quietly trying to hid her mirth at the sight. She glanced beside the bed and noted the chest with the squeeky hinge that had been in the room before they had moved in, remembering how tha thinge would wake her out of a sound sleep everytime cormac tried to sneak off. She laughed at that, quickly covering her mouth and shooting a look at the bed where cormac lay,. he merely girmaced a moment then rolled over and was quickly snoring just as loud as before. She once again looked at the parchements stacked on her desk and sighed resignedly, "lotta mail to get out today," she thought as she began puting on her clothing silently removing her nightclothes, so as to not wake cormac.
A few moments had gone by and cormac suddenly gave a snort and sat up, he grinned at seeing her half naked then colapsed back on the bed quickly spiraling back in to the dream realms. She giggled a few moments at the sight of it and finished dressing herself.
She once gian turned to the parchements and eyed them hoping they would mail themselves but knowing they wouldn't. She sighed once gaain and went about folding he parchments sealing them with the snowflake emblem she prefered for it's beauty and intricateness.
A few moments later she was at the bar ordering breakfast, "where's that man of yours?," Talbot asked as he handed her the milk she had order. "oh stills leeping...I don't want to disturb him any more than he needs to be...he needs his rest and all," she giggled after that reply as talbot chuckled at the same moment which sent them both laughing a bit for a few minutes. "Aye, he's a growing boy and all," talbot chuckled as he turned to whipe down the mugs for the morning rush. She smiled at him and went to her usual seat at the back of the inn and waited for her food to be brought to her as usual. She went about organizing her parchments and, sooner than expected, the waitress ws ther ewith her breakfast, "oh," Lilis tarted," thank you." Lili smiled up at the waitress, which must have been a new girl as lili didn't recognize her. The waitress merely nodded with a polite smile as she returned to her table cleaning duties, the breakfast rush would hit soon and she still had half the tables to get cleaned.
Lili went about eating her breakfast in her usual eleagant and tactful manner, humming a small tune in her head. She remembered her mother singing that song to her, it always seemed to sooth her nerves when she got scared at some odd noise or such in the night. Lili shook herself out of her reverie and finished her breakfast watching the varying patrons coming in for the breakfast talbot so eagerly sold them at about 200% markup. She chuckled at that though but continued to eat her breakfast quickly finishing. She grabbed up her parchments watching one patron in particul who seemed to wander to the corner and slouched on a bench. The man watched all the patrons with an anticipation on his face Lili recognized easily as that of a rogue going aobut his "business". She shook her head and strode towards the dooor waving talbot over to the edge of the bar. "aye?," he asked her quietly, he seemed ot know when something needed to be kept quiet. "yeah, tal," she replied looking at the young rogue in his corner watching a particularly wealthy looking patron, " watch that one," she indicates the man with a slight nod. Talbot glances over a moment catching the same glint she did, "aye," he replied, "I will, and thanks, busy as always you know," he chuckles as he returns to his work. Lili smiled and continues her journey out the door. She stepped outside and squinted, the sun was bright htis day with nary a cloud in sight for once. She glances about the streets, keeping an eye out for any other rogues who may wish an easy target as she seemed to be in her new outfit. After her paranioa was satiated she walks towards the carvan. "greetings," Lili says as she approaches the caravanmaster. He smiles and nods to her politely, "Greetings to you M'lady, what can I do for you? perhaps a trip to Suzail that great city and capital of cormyr?" "no, no that's alright," she replies,"I merely need a few messages delivered via your caravan service is all." "of ocurse madam, where are they going and do you need them there by a certain time?" he iinquires as she hands him the letters, "as soon as possible and their destination is on the front," she replies handing him a bag of coins "this should covour postage." He eyes the bag opening it up and glancing inside, he smiles and closes it quickly placing in his pouches, "I take it you want these taken with utmost care and concern for their adressees," he states. "yes please," she replies and flashes him a smile as she continues on her way to Yuppa's for some items she requires.
