A tiny dark haired elf bends over the note.. reading it several times.. before sitting by the fire and writing a reply.
She smiles to the innkeeper, but takes the her note and the saplings she holds out of the inn.
Both are left where they will be found.

*an elf in green followed by a sharp-eyed hawk finds the note and the saplings, the note is read and the figure nods to itself as if content with the response - carefully, the elf retrieves the saplings and with great tenderness, transports them into the deep forest with the hawk following above*
