Well I think it can be a bit misleading that people log on and can see a level 28 person, then realize after a month of playing that you will never get to that level.(ok you can but it would take a long time, long time)
I just think it would be fair.
I realize many have played on this server for a long time. I have been here a fairly good while myself now.
This is just another topic being discussed. Many of the "epic" or close epic characters out there would be no where near what they are started after the XP system change. Are there here to RP and add to the server or are they here cause they got an uber dude on this server?
As for a character wipe causing a problem with guilds, I think not. Guilds are for RP'n with like minded folk anyway. If you go by that reasoning then it should be done before more guilds get settled.
Yes it would cause alot of people to be in the "same place" In reality this is what is being encouraged. I have played many characters here and I can tell you server wipe or no you go to the ruins in isinhold you will not be there long before you run into others.

I really want to respond to this post, but I think that this arguement will just become circular (and possibly a bit of a flame). I am afraid that this is something that the DMs are just gonna have to decide on...
*Hroth and Vind resting amidst some rubble* Hroth: *pulls out some jerky and hands Vind a piece* Vind: *takes a bite* This is good, you jerk it yourself? Hroth: *raises an eyebrow* No, I never do my own jerking. There is a lady in suzail that does my jerking for me. Does a good job to! Vind: *nods* I do all my own jerking. But maybe I should get someone else to do it. Hroth: Try Glewien
